    Yeah ... no. Every comment in a For Review thread that has a sentence starting with "I didn't read it but ..." fails harder than even the worst story. And I hate retarded non-rules like "don't post pairing xyz".

    OP put this obviously here because he did like it. Generally, there's nothing wrong with that, and we don't fucking have a rule that says which pairings to post and which don't. If the story is bad, it will get bad ratings, and that's that.

    And there's nothing wrong with Lucius, Pimpcane!Pureblood!Lucius is awesome.

    That said, this version of him is blatantly OOC. If Malfoy wants a secret meeting, he'll not choose a Muggle Café, and if he would happen to get caught, he will use a quick memory charm and not be intimidated by Hermione fucking Granger. "That was something the Malfoys simply didn’t do." -- Hermione's own words. And since I heartily agree, without any exceptions, the entire premise of the story falls flat and I'm out.

    But that has nothing to do with the character and the pairing in general. Also, no rating, since I stopped after the first chapter.


    OP, the thread will be handled like any other thread -- after a while in this section, a mod will check the ratings and move it to the according places.

    ... the difference being, of course, that the latter two are stupid Fanon-myths, while the first is Canon. Well, perhaps minus the pimpcane, that's from the movies ;)

    Anyway, though, that was my point: since different people have different tastes, it's stupid to create rules like that in any other than the broadest sense.

    The pimpcane is cool, when it's jammed up Lucius' rectum it's cool. When people think that makes Lucius cool, it's not cool.

    Pointing out something is "canon" doesn't make it a good idea.

    Pimpcane!Lucius, SexGod!Snape, LeatherPants!Draco, SlashyBottom!Harry; these are the distasteful tools of the friendless, emo, pathetic... well, people like this fic's author.

    There's no arguing with this type of person. Their brains don't actually work the same way as others. The only thing you can do is to tell them: Go read Twilight and never come back. No matter what they say in response, even if they start to get angry, just keep repeating Go read Twilight and never come back.

    Now before you all lynch me: Nothing really drew me in, I didnt see any reason to click the next chapter. I cant say anything about your reading prefs OP but I dont think this will make it to the library.

    Decent enough in the tech department though. .5/5
