I found it rather amusing in a 'Dark humor' sort of way. A oneshot of how I believe betrayal fic's should end.

 

This fic does nothing for me. The start was decent but things go to hell after that.

Harry condemned without proof and Hermione crying in horror as soon as Harry proclaims his innocence about not using the Dark Arts, as he had pummeled Tom to death. --> This killed the fic.

"Dumble" and "Saint Dumbasadoor" sealed this as a 1/5.

 

Hmm. Forgot that part. Crappy nickname that is, I posted it because they get exactly what they deserve in the end. Far to many don't.

 

Without reading at all, this is a really confusing statement.

 

I suppose that barring the idiotic nicknames, it is technically decent.

It just doesn't contain anything original enough to justify it's short length.

 

Ehh. Twas nothing special. I didn't detect any grammar or spelling mistakes, but the whole thing read like a Harry!rant TM. I've read enough of those to be thoroughly sick of them by now.

The story feels forced, anyway. Much suspension of disbelief is required to believe that, not one member of the Ministry or the Order properly investigated the circumstances of V's death and the murders commited by the other guy. Wizards have little common sense, supposedly, but this is taking it to the extreme.

The ending was satisfying, showing that Harry has moved on with his life.

I agree with the above post. But I'd rate it a 3 instead. I liked it myself. Nothing entirely special, but good enough for me.

 

It was slightly promising before they started conversing. And the whole thing felt way too muggle. The ending left a bad taste in my mouth too.

Decent effort for a pointless bash-fest, but not enough plot twists, blood and gore for my taste. Pretty average on the whole, but I'll have to round down for the annoying Everyone's-better-than-Britain cliché.

0/5 for lame betrayal story + 2/5 for kicking the bitch out. Generally, unless you're really bored I don't recommend this, and even then, there are tons of longer and better fics.

I didn't enjoy it. Dumbassador, tommyboy, and the rest were all too friggin lame to enjoy the story. If Harry were 14 then I guess it would be different.

Four thousand magical warriors at a moments notice and Harry being a super duper mega badass also kinda ruined it for me. I guess the darkwankers in Britain had better look out.

 

Please, please tell me you were quoting the story.


As to the story itself, it seems to be another betrayed!harry who sets a life of his own and says "f u" to the old life.
The plot is average, writing style is good and finally Harry got some backbone...

Yeah, that would have been an amusing twist. I'd rate this a 3, actually. It's your average story. Nothing really stands out, except that Hermione gets her ass handed to her.

 

Literally? Because I would read that.

 

Yes, she is forced to strip down to her bra/undies and leave the house (while the weather outside is similar to MN in the winter).

 

I condemn this story.
