I could never really get into the Harry/Lily pairing no matter how much time travel/necromancy/whatever was involved... Its just to icky.

But on the topic of Oedipus Rex.... Can you imagine how awkward those family reunions in the afterlife would be?

 

Oh I'm not saying I'm into it, just saying if Petunia was hot and Dudders wasn't a tub of lard it might fly over a pit better then horse face swalling whale boy.

Oh and I am so excited... Tuesday and Wednesday I am going to be visiting Kenyon College in Ohio for an overnight stay.

They are an awesome Liberal Arts college

 

well i thought the stay with the vampires and the bonding with the dragons was alright...

i enjoyed the fleur moments..barfed with the ginny and hermione, hope there is a tonks moment...

i also cannot handle a harry/lily.

 

i dont like harry/lilly as well. it just dont understand how it works...i mean the grandfather paradox type of thing where he is his own grandfather i can understand ...somewhat.... but his own father i could never understand that.

 

Same here. As long as it's done right, otherwise it's unbearable. especially when he's doing it on purpose, actually thinking of it as incest.

 

same thing, like there are some stories written by demon god of chaos i believe or one of the authors in his group, with a harry/lily. when i start to accept the pairing, the lil voice is like this is wrong....

 

ermmm... uhh... yeah... *looks about nervously* ... lily/harry is just teh wrong...

i dont mind the pairing all that much actually... its just not done properly.... think i may quest to do a proper one later in life...

 

Now, this story is really getting out of control. It's like this guy's throwing in any super-power clishe that pops up on his mind (after overpowering it a few more times).

It was bearable at first, but shit really hit the fan when he started overpowering the ministry group and turning them all into super-wizards. Not to mention how irritating it is that Harry keeps bribing his friends/followers/slaves with stuff that's totaly lame and ridiculous in a HP world (choppers? magically-powered laptops? wands you don't have to wave? super-gay colorful swords? amusement park rides?).

It's really getting more and more difficult to read this story with each new chapter. The only reasons I keep doing it are solid writing style, dark & independant Harry and Dumbledore bashing. I hope this guy does a major overhaul of this shit, once he's off the fumes.

I never really got past the first chapter of this one, and by the sounds of it I should be glad. I don't know why I didn't continue with it though, I think it just slipped from my mind.

 

Bah, first chapters weren't that bad. Some parts were rather interesting, actually. But since he had Harry save the elven village of "Tolkien Ripoff", it became a roller-coaster ride with general tendency downward.

 

...I'm still pissed that he used my fic title as Harry's vampire name. The idea of something I created being even remotely connected to a Harry/Ginny fic makes me retch.

 

Still, it could have been worse. Why you ask? Well, imagine your suprise had you found out it was Harry's pet name used only by Draco on those special occasions when they share a bed.

 

I prefer thinking that it's Harry/Fleur

 

It was really hard to read this story. I have problems with reading fanfics that have paragraphs uberly long. It gives me a headache, especially if it isn't even well-written.

 

I know what you mean. The last few chapters started getting harder and harder to read, and then the last chapter I couldn’t even get through the third paragraph. And that’s saying something, since I usually give the story a chance to get better before dumping it completely. But at the moment its just one big convoluted mess, I don’t even know what to think.
