I don't get the whole anime genre, never watched any, never read any and not planning to. Just saying.

This statement is basically a declaration of ignorance. You have never seen anime, you don't understand it, and you can't be bothered to try to understand it. So why even post this? Do you really think people care about your ignorant non-opinion, or that DLPers are on the edge of their seat thinking, "man, I can't wait to see what NoxedSalvation thinks about this"?

btw, anime is more of a medium than a genre.

 

Because this is Dark Lord Potter and this thread started as a discussion of fanmade HP anime. If you go and check the hundreds of anime/manga threads around you will find that I didn't post in any of them- because they have no connection to freaking Harry Potter! If you don't get the statement implied in my post- "I don't care for HP anime!" you should polish your logic skills.

Be that as it may, you could have just outright said your 'implication' of 'I don't care for a HP anime' and not made a giant ass of yourself by showcasing your lack of understanding.

I'd suggest you should polish your 'not being an asshole skills' but you're clearly a lost cause.

 

This is a site about Harry Potter fanfiction - not just Harry Potter. And fanfiction has a habit of (a) not sticking exactly to canon, and (b) getting influenced by other fantoms.

So your belief that you haven't really encountered anime just because you stick to HP fanfiction, literally made me laugh out loud. More than a few of your favorite authors read anime or have written crossovers themselves - and if you think there hasn't been any stylistic bleed-over, well....lol
