This isn't a power in Harry Potter, but I'd go for something that let me connect to all of my alternate selves and draw on their knowldege and abilities. Sadly I too have spent entirely too much time on this idea. I originally came up with this idea during a discussion a friend and I had on Superheros and what would be a good 'new' idea for a power a superhero could have and I pulled this idea out of my ass.

Think about it tho' being able to connect with all your alternates would mean you'd be able to pretty much figure out how to do all the above, because somewhere somehow some you has managed to do one of the above, and if you know how, you can too!

I have to say I'd like to be a metamorph. It would be perfect for getting out of things,and a whole lot easier than hair dye or cuts. You'd always have a good disguise ready.

And, my boyfriend would be one happy guy.

then get infinite knoweldge, time travel, and immortality.
yes, i know infinite knowledge isn't a power in HP, but i go by: "Knoweldge is Power", so therefore it is a power.

 

I would like to have the power to relive days at command. Just think about it. You could go to your local kindergarten, pick up your chainsaw and just have fun. And when the polis comes you just rewind time and relive the day but go to McDonald’s instead of the kindergarten and act like you are normal.

I'd have to go with legilimency. If you can do the 'download' thing that was in Master Assassin by Stained Future, no matter how unrealistic it was, you would kick ass at life.

Imagine just going to your professor and beating into his mind and withdrawing all his knowledge of physics or whatever. That would certainly kick ass...never fail a test or anything.

Plus, you could use it to plant compulsions. Ooh! Isn't posession a form of legilimency? Then you could make people do shit as well.

I'm afraid it's just better than all others.
