I honestly have no idea what's been going on but I support this site wholeheartedly. The forums, topics, and debates here are great and pretty funny. What other forum in the world where they have a annual Ginny kill off and can have (mostly) mature debates on politics and religion? You all have my support.

I am highly dissappointed with Raven. Dropping the two mods who were the most determined to keep idiots out? It strikes me as a decidedly idiotic idea. That said, I do still support DLP. It was, and still is, a great idea, and I hope it lives on for a long time.

 

This site is the best place on the web to separate the wheat from the chaff of HP fanfiction. Although I spend most of my time here sitting quietly in the corner, I will happily sign.

...I can go on and on about how much my respect for some had decidedly dropped a bit in the last few hours, how heavy my disappointment is, how shitty and horrible all this drama and conspiracy is, but I won't because all this is getting tiring, especially in the light of the log and the prominent members leaving.

Let's just pick up the pieces. =) Don't abandon the DLP.net you loved so easily.

Yesterday I took the time to read most of the drama thread, and today I read this thread in its entirety. All I have to say is: stop acting like stupid cunts, you dumbfucks. Even though I only registered in December of 2005, I've been lurking since a few months after the site started up. In all that time, I've never seen things go to shit the way they have right now.

So yeah, I'll sign. Not because I support anyone (even if I think that what Raven did was the epitome of stupidity), but because I support what the site stands for, that is, a haven against the idiots populating most of the HP fandom.
