Hi all. Will you humor me in answering how you feel about the game right now? Did the two flips surprise you/how do you feel about your role?

I kinda feel like I missed out on a decent amt of the fun of Yesterday and now being stuck in lylo I wish I had stronger reads coming out of yday I overslept and didn't have time to check in before class. Also this is probably just going to come out as a word vomit of thoughts b/c that's the way I think, not in pretty colors and succinct thoughts and read walls.

I'm pretty confident that von is not the recruiter, mostly b/c of his post count from D1 (but also b/c of the content.) I was leaning towards Citrus as the scum, if anyone, on the Luckylee wagon yesterday just because I think everyone else's votes were p null, whereas scum-Citrus was probably the only one in danger of being lynch and would've directly benefitted most from a quick, silly wagon being pushed through. I initially disliked Ter's vote on me b/c I thought that there were other people in the game she hasn't voted before and that that inconsistency felt un-genuine, but I think she has actually voted everyone but me so?? She did have a markedly different start to this game than last game when she was CR by making a vote that didn't respond to anything that was going on/avoided making waves, but I also kind of doubt she would do the exact same thing that Sloth caught her on the day before.

I've reread the thread for Sloth specifically in both this game and last trying to make comparisons. My gut from Yesterday was more town than scum though. When I try to think about why I think that it makes my head hurt because after getting burnt in AYAW2 I know he's capable of being aggressive and faking scumhunting as scum, but there's still not really anything that I would call him out on from Yday in terms of seeming genuine or his scumhunting being off. I don't even really know what would help me get him out of the nullish pile either.

MathBlade seems a lot less fluffy/quirky/involved than I've seen her before, which is surprising to me and makes me wonder if she finally drew scum or is just busy, but she didn't really post enough Yesterday for me to feel super confident about that.

As for the whole recruiting aspect, reading along w last game as it played out, I was pretty confident that any given CR would pick TerRaine or Sloth as their recruitees, but playing the same setup back to back introduces so much WIFOM that it's difficult. There isn't anyone in particular that I'd expect to pick Citrus as a buddy anyway? (I think TR is least likely to and von is maybe most likely to, players/game context aside, and the buddy-buddy between him and Sloth either makes it really likely that Sloth would pick him or really likely that Sloth wouldn't but I'm not actually sure which!) and so mostly I just feel annoyed that we're even playing this setup?? I don't feel like von/Sloth is likely mostly due to <<outside game reasons>>, but I can kinda logic why any other pair would've happened.

I'm kind of surprised that von is reading me wrong and I want to know why, and knowing that should help me sort. Sloth has a similarish start to his D2 Recruitedness (I kind of don't think he would buss again but WIFOM.) I def wanna hear from MB and TR today.

B/c 'von' isn't capitalized in 'Snowvon' and I got probably just got in the habit of it when doing VC notes in CYS

 

@Monochrome Don't fucking accuse me of lying about RL and busy. I posted in Kalas's Gotham signup I was busy and did so here as well. I don't lie about that.

That being said it is probably either Snow and Delphi or Sloth and Terraine.

If we don't lynch scum we're in trouble. I am not voting because of reasons scum would likely put together.

 

Um, of course I'm not accusing you of lying about being busy? I am pointing out that you are much less whimsical than I would expect and that it is difficult for me to tell to what extent that is alignment dependent and to what extent that is out-of-game circumstance dependent. I know even less what to make of you being so defensive about it. :/ Can you expand on why you're not voting and why those specific pairs? (If scum can put together the reasons, then please enlighten the town..?)

This is why I hate lylo and wish I'd gotten lynched back when I could pew pew someone with no fear.

Like, I don't get why you apparently voted me rather than Sloth because he posted something that made you think we were buddies.

 

It's a short game, so I'm not feeling especially pressured to actually be confident in my reads.

And if you and Sloth are both suck then it doesn't really matter who I want to lynch first, since the Cultist is a one-shot.

 

If I think someone's scum directly because of someone else, I know I'm inclined to vote the person that, like, did the tell? Like in Titus's game I would've been super weirded out if fonti actually voted me over hiplop when she thought I was scum primarily because of something hiplop said. I don't know if that's just a Thinking Difference though, it's just weird because without a real Deeper Reason for you picking me over him it makes me wonder if you were trying to avoid looking like OMGUSing.

I don't know if I'm just reading way too far into everythingt hough. The exchang ethat just happened makes there like a negative% chance that you recruited TerRaine, and my immediate reaction was TR/MB feels but I don't entirely remembre why I was thinking that. Oh I kind of remember but I need to wait for other ppl to talk first.

I'm ok with the game, some mild confusion, but all in all, it'll be over soon.

Obviously the Lee flip didn't surprise me at all: I was saying he was Town.
The Citrus one didn't exactly surprise either, it just made me more comfortable with Snow.

Speaking of Snow, why do you feel he's not recruiter again?
