    As promised, I, your eternally awesome Administrator & "Tech Slave", have written an importer which I used today to move over all of your old birthdays and custom fields, thus the closing of the forum for a few moments to ensure a proper import. Enjoy!

    I had already corrected my birthday, so when it was again imported, it was messed up. I guess that it didn't register that fact or something...

    The first time Impex (vBulletin's "offical" phpBB and other forum system importer) completely mangled everyone's birthdays. I wrote a convertor to correctly parse and use the birthdays, so it's set to what it was on phpBB now.

    In laymans terms. The original importer broke birthdays (remember the people turning 70?) I wrote an importer which fixed them to what they originally were on the old forum.

    No intention of sounding bitchy at all but the wrong information was imported to my account. I'll change it now but I just posted it here to inform you just in case this may have happened on a wider scale.

    And you were right, it was on a larger scale. I made a small oversight in forgetting deleted users, as Impex (vBulletin importer) would not transcribe userids exactly, nor +1 in the case of my userid, though it does store the old userid so I was able to get the old userid and use it to find the user's new user id for the queries. All is well now.
