So with the recent release of the Star Wars collection on Blu-Ray (which due to working at a dead-end job, I can't get the HDTV, player, or movie set), I have a craving for good Star Wars fics.

Preferably Anakin-centric, prior to Order 66 being carried out. AU is fine, even preferred. Any Sith!Anakin fics would be great, but without the whole cybernetic body suit thing he had going on as Vader. Just any decent fic, really.

This guy does stuff from the real trilogy, not that godawful set of abominations for the last decade (which you want, for some god-forsaken reason), but he is considered one of, if not the, best Star Wars Fanfiction writer around.

 

Since this is in the HP Fanfic Discussion section, I'll assume you're fine with crossovers too and recc The Path of Fate by Scubahiker. It starts pre-Clone Wars and it's pretty damn good from what I remember of it. The downside is that it hasn't been updated in over a year.

Meh. crossovers are fine, provided they're good. I only posted it in this section because it was 'Story Search'. If there is a more appropiate section, I'm sorry for not posting there.

@Archerdood: The reason I kinda wanto to read fics set in the prequels is because I saw the original trilogy as a kid so many times its importance faded to me. The emotional impact of Episode III, special effects, and recent release has it far more prevalent in my mind. Plus, a lot of the post-Order 66 fics probably draw upon the EU for settings (Luke as Grandmaster of the New Jedi Order, his children's children turning Sith or whatever, or the early skirmishes of the Rebellion against the Empire) that I frankly haven't read up on. I'm far more familiar with the periods during the Clone Wars and Late Jedi Order, and I'd like to stick with what I know.
