I dunnu; I read this for around 18 chapters and just found that i couldnt, anymore. It seems like the author just draws out the mystery behind the goings-on to the point where i, at least, lost interest. plus, the addition of a new character that we've never seen or heard of before--especially one as unique as Opa--well, i just dont take too kindly to it. we already had luna.

And, come on--the founders? are you kidding me? and now harry has access to the founders' secret rooms--where he can learn, train, and develop himself in secret and noooooooooooooo one will knoooooooooooow. it seems like a belated super!harry--and as believable as you try to make it, super!harry is still super!harry.

Regardless, it's well written, at least in punctuation and grammar specifics, and the dialogue is well done. Just because i think that the plot is too slow in developing--or, maybe, the author just focuses too much and too long on the details of every passing day--doesn't change the fact that i think it's well thought out.

    so, 2.5/5.

including founders and their rooms are not that interesting and Albus hiding them is not logical. also the relationship between harry and ginny is ridiculous and boring. Albus would ask help from founders in a situation like the school wards were in.

i like the last chapters though, the ones that include Salazar. All in all 2.5/5

Albus hiding the paintings at first didnt make a whole lot of sense to me either. And as much as i dont like the Harry/Ginny interaction, it doesnt appear to be leading anywhere besides friendship which i can handle.

As the latest chapter came out i feel i might be slowly seeing the connection as to why Albus might not be on the same page as the founders.... After reading the latest chapter 35 i think things are about to get much more interesting.

i've just finished chapter 24, Dumbledore's protection on the paintings are a little weak if he has had 20 years to put them on. Interesting bit about Opa's
family and is this going to be superharry, Harry/Ginny friendship is ok as long as it doesn't go anywhere further than that. 4/5

I keep meaning to read this, but I just don't have time right now. I'll edit in a review when I get a min.

I know this is an old post but Ijust finished reading this and tought I'd add my opinion.

I think that this is probably one of my favorite stories that I've read in a while. Even the begining which is usually, even in many good stories, painfully cliche was very interesting. The rest of the story was very good and kept me captivated.

I really really like Salazar and Helga in this story, their portayal is much better than in any story that I can remember, especially Helga. THe fact that Salazar almost openly manipulates Harry and obviously has his own plans makes him truly seems devious and cunning, unlike most portayals of him. Also, the inclusion of the founders wasn't bothersome in this instance because of the way it was incoperated(sp?) into the story.

Even the OCs in this story don't really detract from the story, much to the contrary, I really like most of them. Malfoy is also nicely portrayed here.

The one thing I'm not sure about is the Grey family thing and all the talk about Demons and summoning. If it doesn't come to the foreground of the story it will be fine, but if Harry starts to actually look deeply into that, it will become too fantasy for my taste.

Also, there seem to be a few too many places that seem to be kind of a big deal within the wizarding world for Harry not to have even heard of them. I like their inclusion, but it doesn't seem to be really all that plausable.

I also might enjoy it more than some because I don't mind Ginny in some stories. I don't nessasarily like her, but it won't detract from a story just having her in it if shes minor or well portaryed, the latter being the case here.

Any way right now I'd rate the story a 4.8/5 with chance to change either way depending on how the story ends.

I've only read about fifteen chapters of the story so far, and I've found it to be a pretty good story. The main problem I find with the story is that the plot is progressing very slowly. The characters are being fleshed out pretty well, and I have no problem with Ginny being a main character. I'd probably rate this story at a 3.5~4/5.

Well I started to read this story last week and finished reading the last chapter a few days ago (I think it was two days ago, but I don't know for sure) I don't really have the experience to judge the story, but I liked most of it. The founders were portrayed in an unusual manner, and The Harry - Salazar interaction scenes were the best, I liked Salazar and Rowena personality. The Grey family was strange, as was the demon thing.
