Anyone know of any good 'Next Generation' stories out there?

Inverarity's Hogwarts Houses Divided is arguably the best novel length one out there. Lady Altair's short one-shot Cauterize is outstanding writing. I enjoyed Respitechristopher's Mercurial Trio series, which originated as a sequel of sorts to Lady Altair's work. (Others haven't enjoyed it as much as I, so ymmv). Bad Mum's A Strictly Legal Matter is a pretty lulzy bit of Rose/Draco drama.

Have to agree with Pers - "Cauterize" is splendid work. Not being a big fan of next-gen stuff, at least in general, I haven't read those other previous recs.

I have, however, read "Curiosity" by ChocolateEclar. It's a one-shot and it's very good if memory serves. There's a long but unfinished sequel named "Complexity" that deals with more canon characters, and I also recall enjoying it quite a bit.

Another sort-of next-gen fic is "Teddy Lupin and the Forest Guard" over at The Sugar Quill. I say sort-of because Teddy is pretty much the only canon character as he is older than the other next-gen kids, but the OCs were done well and in fact, as is the case with many fics on SQ, the writing was quite good. I know many here don't like that site and it's essentially dead, but there were some very good authors posting very good storytelling there at one time.

And I'd be remiss if I failed to point out what might be the best next-gen fic ever written - namely "Familiar Conversations" by Shezza. XD
