One of the better stories I have read in a while.

pretty good. I'll follow it as well.

 

I'm on chapter 6 so far, and only one or two small gripes with it.

As a rule I HATE time travel, it's never done well at all =(*

This story, however, does do it better then most, and as of chapter 6, it's starting to move in a good direction.

Edit: I gotta nitpick the Newt bit... As strong and rich as Harry is... it's not like he'd need to take the Newts to get a job... If its JUST so he can take Blaise legally as a apprentice fine.. but otherwise, just teach the chick.

Ron and Hermione.... Harry's been going 10 years, trained as an assassin/etc... why the hell would he still care about two annoying schoolchildren he hasnt seen in a decade?

Bella back to Hogwarts... this is painful for me to read =( Shes personally trained by Voldemort, why the hell would she go back as a student?

I will give the story massive credit for it not making HARRY go back as a student, but the Bella bit is almost as bad.

The next chapter is good, but the one after that.. Harry getting Snape's daughter to gaurd is weird. Why not the Weasley's or some other random family?

 

I agree with that. In one chapter Harry is assigned guard duty and adopts a kid. And Bella has no business being in school. Make her a girlfriend for Salazar or something but just making her a student minimizes and demeans her character. She is supposed to be a powerful witch.

If this story is done right, its Salazar, Rowena, Harry, and Bellatrix forming an elite group that slaughters death eaters.

 

She could have gone back as something much cooler to just be by him, like his slave.

I don't know about that either, but they should come back.

 

That's not strictly true; one of the better fics out there is Future Remapped and there are one or two others which are also great!

I must admit though, that the vast majority are pansy bullshit which whole point is so that Harry could perform a variety of pranks. Wtf?

Anyway, I'm currently working on a time travel fic which Egyptian Flame asked me to Change/Continue (Other Side of Hell) which you should check out, I'm hoping to give time travel fics a better reputation!

 

Last time i bothered checking future remapped it had chapters about shit being smeared all over the students and a long tedious run of insane harry chapters that ruined it for me.

 

Agreed. That "shit bunnies" stuff was a cause for readers to go 'wtf?' but shezza's mind works in wierd and wonderful ways.

 

By the way, Flame's looking for someone to co-author Independence of a Hero with. Preferably someone who is excellent at writing in detail and has had previous experience.

Well Who tutored you? Anyway I have just gotten to the end of chapter ten where flame stupidly(to Me) has harry being knocked out instead of dumbledore, by them destroying a horcrux.

Resurrecting the dead (threads) is a no-no on dlp.

 

I don't know about that. Lots of good stories have been resurrected. Rorschach's Blot story was resurrected by me and now its pretty popular. Vash/ Midknight's stories get resurrected all the time. I think its all good.
