I was reading some intervies, (1 from the website telegram i believe and the magazine talath (i think thats wrong but its close enough)) and they both state that JK is going to finish the HArry Potter Series This year, so either the last book is short...or well....im not sure @_@ i just hope its better then book 6

Impossible. She just came out with HBP last year. And she said somewhere that she was going to take a break from writing. The next book won't be out for another year or two probably. Maybe the interviews were just saying the 7th year is the last one?

 

True, but most of her books did take awhile to get out er or write >_> w/e, and this one getting done in about a year? mabye a year and a half makes me kinda wonder

I got this of the Telegraph website, which is a British Newspaper.

She's already written another book to release after the Harry Potter series it say's, though it is a childrens book that she calls a "political fairy story".

It will probably be OUT then in the summer of 2007. She'll finish it by Christmas (bear in mind that the year JUST STARTED!! She's got a LOT of time on her hands.)

This will give almost a two Year gap, which is almost what it was between ORder of the Phoenix and HBP.

 

Same here. I might hate her latest two books but I still admire her for creating the whole Harry Potter universe, and well I'm really looking forward to seeing how she's going to end it all. Reading the original (JKR's stuff) work is just not the same as reading a fanfiction.

 

JKR has also said that there'll be no need for a sequel, because she wont leave anything unanswered. That speaks for itself, right? Harry is so going to die.

 

No but Ginny is... she's a Horracrux. That's why she said the ending will be a choice between what is right and what is easy. Harry's gonna AK her arse. (*wishful thinking*)

 

But that would mean keeping Ginny alive is the right thing and I always thought that "right" and "Ginny alive" together was a oxymoron.

Though the Ginny the Horcrux is an interesting idea.

 

She very well could be, maybe Harry didn't completely destroy the diary before Riddle's essence pored into her.(That just sounds wrong. :shock: )
But, then rowling would make it so that Ginny wouldn't have to die because she was only part of the orignal horcrux.
