As for proof of my being in contact with Stojil, just wait until tomorrow and he'll happily confirm it. So long as the Merlin switches him with someone, he's immune to night kills (well, provided the Merlin doesn't get night killed in turn). I'd appreciate it if Father Forthill decided to protect me in that case, just so that when contact is proven I'm still around to do something about it. Heh, this is the one scenario where I'm quite happy to not have an info-role, I guess, since I know I'm going to be role-blocked tonight. Well, that or sold on eBay, either/or.

You guys do realize if the Duchess power acts in the only logical way it could Stojil or whoever hets kidnapped, can make no night actions the night FOLLOWING the flavor. Ie Stojil can make no NK tonight.

Evan, both dying would still mean that the blackstaff killed one of them so obviously he would have lied. To add onto what dhulli said merlin should definitely switch stojil with someone so that he'll get a chance to deny or confirm what's been said.

 

Again, I think NOT protecting Aekiel is the only true way to see whether or not he's been telling the truth.

 

That is true, but at the same time that makes me even more suspicious. Stojil was not lynched on Day 2 because we ended up running out of time and not everyone was entirely sure. If the Red Duchess did not sell him last night, I have a feeling Stojil would be on the lynching block today. This could have saved his ass. Now Aekiel makes a stupid mistake that puts Stojil's life at risk ('cause come on, anyone evil is going to try to stop Stojil now), as well as puts the blame on Zennith (who might still be scum, I don't know...).

That should be proof enough that I'm in contact with him, though I know it isn't proof of innocence, I'll admit. What have we got to waste in letting me live through the night?

 

We learn more if we leave you to your own devices and see if you make it. What's the waste in letting me live through the day? If you always use that logic, the scum will absolutely win.

 

With you we have a good amount of objective evidence to support your lynch. If I'm lying, I die tomorrow. Simple as that. It won't help you personally, but given that this is about as much evidence as we ever actually get for lynching a person (provided the priest-analogue doesn't come forward - DON'T!), it makes sense to err on the side of potentially killing off one of the most scum roles.
