I'm going to be around the next 3 hours anyways, so if it really does come down to it, I'll swap over to Kalas for the 13 we need.

 

I still don't understand those saying that if we night kill Ashaya and she is marcone, how is that any different from night killing whoever Ashaya would target, thus just cutting out the middle man and saves us one townie with a potentially relevant ability.

What I am saying, if you actually think Ashaya is Marcone, you shouldn't be advocating NKing her, and if you think she's scum you should be advocating lynching her. Marcone power is only really relevant when a scum NKs her, if it's our NK then we net the same result but with one more townie dead.

I myself am on the fence about Ashaya being marcone, but am currently much more suspicious of Kalas and draconian and think they should be our lynch and NK targets, respectively.

 

I think that's the point. No one really knows for sure if she is Marcone or not. If she dies and there's no revenge, then she was scum. If she dies and there was, then she can hit someone, hopefully scum, and take them out too.


I'm on the fence too, which is why I'm not voting to lynch her. Save the lynch for someone that is acting scummy while using the NK to either wipe out another scum or activating revenge kill for, again, another hopeful scum smashing.


Also, Marcone's ability is from any NK, not just a scum NK.

 

I think there are enough more suspicious people that warrant a NK over Ashaya. ESPECIALLY if we don't reach a majority (which seems possible with the amount of no voting.)

 

Alright, I don't like this whole draconian is either a complete idiot or scum thing. I've contributed and pointed things out that others have missed so how am I such an idiot? Give me an example please, because its really starting to get on my nerves. The only thing that I can think of that I've definitely been wrong about was the denarian coin thing and I still think that was a reasonable assumption going off of Nicodemus's info in the rules thread.

I still think that Ashaya is scum and powerful scum at that, but in case she's telling the truth I think its better to nk her and let her take out someone she thinks is scum. Since there's a decent chance that she kills me tonight, my suspicions for scum are Ashaya, Smile, Castiel, and Azira.

I find it distressful that people think I'm scum, especially Stojil, since I count myself as one of his more ardent supporters.

As a side note, who did the Knights purify last night? I found it strange that nobody claimed it.

 

Also, I'm as curious as Malawi about Aekiel voting for stojil. There's no way that I can see for him to not understand that his qt is with the blackstaff so I doubt stojil would have been keeping it secret. Aekiel what was up with those votes?

So, what is the current course of action? Kalas gets lynched (probably), Stojil nk's Ashaya, and Ashaya nk one of her suspects, right?

One question. Who protects Stojil? Merlin or Father Forthill? Because if they are both doing it at the same time it is just a waste of good protection role.

I didn't know Stojil was the Blackstaff. He used his role name in the qt and wouldn't tell me who he was until he trusted me. Remember, McCoy has no idea what role he could be contacting on Day 1, so he didn't want to risk letting me know his identity until I could prove to him that I was town.

Okay. I'm currently stuck on a plane that got turned back for weather. Once I get back to the terminal/on a laptop I'll make a proper post. For now though I simply.ask you look back at Azira's initial lynch post and realize the faults in his logic.

 

Also, I'm with Stojil in the thinking Ashaya is scum. I've been looking over her posts and it's struck me that she's paying much more attention to this game than usual, being that she usually complains of boredom within the first day or two. This suggests to me that she has a role that interests her, and given that she has professed a liking for scum roles before, implies that this time she may be scum.

On top of that, saying that she doesn't check her qt often implies that she doesn't have a night action, but given that she hasn't complained of boredom this implies that she has something to do during the night to keep her attention. My thought would be that she is a Denarian, and was in contact with Thorned Namshiel on the first night. This would end after the first night, so Ashaya wouldn't have much to do with her qt for a few days until Thorned Namshiel contacts her again.

Therefore, my estimate is that Ashaya is Tessariel and a Denarian.

The real question therefore is whether she should be lynched or should we wait for the Knights of the Cross to try and purify her, which would turn her to town (I think) and let us know the identity of at least Nicodemus.
