Three and a half hours. Ashaya is either scum or she's Marcone, and right now Kalas is at the half-way point to a lynching. It's possible that she wasn't emotionally invested enough to care about checking her QT.

Something that could be very telling here is if she's Susan instead of Marcone. Riley said he was waiting for Susan to check her QT before he could give us the flavor text last night, and given that text it seems to indicate Susan got NK'd and turned to the Red Court's side.

So what do we do? Try to NK her via Blackstaff, or go for a lynch to confirm whatever she is, she's terminated for good?

After noticing what exactly she was saying here, I simply don't think she's Marcone anymore. Marcone (a good one, anyway) would check his QT with in mind the possibility of having being killed and having to send out the revenge kill.

So either Ashaya (who has played more games than most if not all people here) was playing badly or she's lying.

That (and the fact she fakeclaimed that role to avoid being lynched and being targeted at night instead) makes me think she's night-protected scum.

We need to lynch her now.

I'm all for purifying Ashaya as opposed to killing her. I'd much rather have another townie than a dead one.

Um... I'd say let her live and allow the Knights to try and purify her. That would be the best of all possible ends, assuming she is actually Tessariel. This way at least she wouldn't die if a mistake has been made and she's not actually a Denarian.

I'm not buying that she has to be a denarian if she's scum. This thinking leaves us using both the blackstaff and knights' action on her or having this whole debate again tomorrow if she's not tessa.

 

Ok..weathers improved somewhat so we're fueling up and go.ing to try it again.. So phone defense is a go.

The majority of the case against me is based on two posts. The first has already been discussed and I'll leave it at saying it was out of context. The second was a suggestion on a surefire way for Aekiel to survive the night. I hadn't considered the implications if the Duchess decided to sell Aekiel. Or how that would reflect on me for suggesting it. Its at this point I believe Azira concluded I was scum.

His post afterwords is dependent on zenith telling the truth about his.role and me somehow knowing krogan would die/ducking my night action. Those two happening together? Something I find extremely unlikely. Planes leaving in a minute. Probably my last post of the night. I leave it in your hands.

 

Well fuck. We aren't getting a lynch tonight, not with this kind of waffling and too many lurkers besides.

If Stojil has to NK Ashaya based on the Denarian concern, we have four results: One, she's Nicodemus and actually dies. Two, she's Tessariel and has at least one more NK survival up her sleeve. Three, she's Thorned Namshiel and may very well disrupt something but dies. Four, she's a coin-holder that Nicodemus slammed and will probably survive, since it specifically says lynch to eliminate them.

Whether or not that means one of the Denarian roles get's refilled or not I don't know.

We all agree she's scum, it seems. Why risk letting her live if she's not a denarian and/or she's night protected?

Lynching her will kill her for sure.

 

Alright, Castiel obviously isn't getting lynched at this point and I still don't think Kalas is scum.

If she's not Tessa then most of my reasoning for suspecting her goes out the window. I get the impression she has a qt with someone and no night action. If it turns out she wasn't a Denarian then it's basically no harm no foul. Stojil gets to kill his most suspicious target, we lynch someone that already has a bandwagon with a chance of succeeding (I don't have anything particularly against Kalas, but I'm hesitant to let a lynch go by again, since that just plays into the scum's hands), and if we're wrong Ashaya is still around to help out. She may still be scum, but my read is that she is Tessariel, and it's a big win for us if she's converted back to town because then we learn who Nicodemus and Thorned Namshiel are.

 

um, lol. I voted for Kalas, not Ashaya.

 

What can protect her during the night? Unless Father Forthill decides to be a douche and use his power on her, she's vulnerable.

 

I don't want to lynch Ashaya for the reason Zenzao explained. If she is Marcone, she will have a chance to eliminate someone when she is targeted tonight. It seems like Stojil will try to kill her tonight, so she will either die and take someone out with her, or she is a Denarian and will either die tonight or get lynched tomorrow. I mean come on, if she survives... It's obvious she is scum and will be killed.

She is going to die within the next 48 hours, lets not waste a lynch on her when it possibly could be beneficial to us to let her live to the night. Even if she is a Denarian, what could she possibly do? None of the Denarians can kill. The worse she could do was roleblock someone or corrupt someone with a coin.

As I hope we actually get a lynch today, I will place my vote so it goes towards someone that has votes.

Why? Because we need a lynch, he has the most, and I like the idea of NKing Ashaya. If she survives we kill her tomorrow. The most we lose from that is one wasted NK. That is worth the risk I'd say.

It should also bare mentioning that I have had an uneasy feeling about Kalas's posts. Some of them just seem to be filler to me. I'll look for those if people ask, but if not I'll let you guys do that.

I'm also suspicious of Evan and Draconian. Evan because of Dhulli's post, and not the no town bullshit. The fitting in bit. Sorry Evan, but if I have to read one more retort of that argument, which has been noted to be stupid, I will feel murder frenzy.

Draconian because...he has been quiet. For him at least. Since he seems so keen on metagaming: he had no qualms about talking up a storm in WH:E. Some of which were actually pretty decent. Yes, he was scum, but that doesn't change anything. The point is I believe he's either holding back or overwhelmed. Sweet, sweet, metagaming BS.

Also, an honourable mention to Castiel: who I believed to be scum until today. Guljons also did a bit to assuage that suspicion.

Aekial, if you didn't have Stojil's backup, I'd be getting a load of scumvibes off of you by this point. You go from agreeing with Stojil to lynch her at post 760 to wanting not to do so six posts later and arguing for her survival.

We know the Blackstaff is going to NK her if a lynch becomes impossible, but what if he gets freaking role-blocked by Mavra or Forthill decides to give her the benefit of the doubt? Bam, wasted NK and wasted lynch, and if she's scum than it's probable her night action has replenished.
