Gotta say, I loved this. This screams sequel, and I have to say, much better done than any of the Spider-Man movies, really. Spider-Man 2 +3 really got off the rails for me.

In that thing you call a closet. Better watch out,
Frankly, I was bored out of my mind. The action was cool, I guess, but I thought the movie was horrible and very boring. Also, most of it was very predictable, and this is coming from someone who has never even read any Iron Man comics. I preferred Spider Man and Batman.

Without a doubt the best Marvel movie yet.

Movie was worth every minute of the four hours I waited in line to see it, and did not disappoint at all.

I'm sad to say however that I did not see the secret ending after the credits. Does anyone know if it is online yet? If so, please link!

I just saw iit last night. It was amazing, perhaps the best Marvel movie to date. The acting was amazing and Downey made the whole movie awesome.

My favorite part was when he was testing his suit and put it on 10% thrusting. :p

Actually, I loved the whole suit testing process.

I just watched it last night, and it was a really good movie. Of course, I'm still pissed off at him because of Captain America and the whole Civil War... but it was still a good movie. Had some good one liners, good action, good acting. I still liked the first Spider-Man better, though. Batman Begins was also better, imo. >_>

Look at the name, it should be obvious.
I saw it last week, and just noticed the thread. I thought Iron Man was a fantastic movie, but it wasn't the best superhero ever, that still belongs to Batman Begins.

Having said that I think Robert Downey Jr is the best actor I’ve seen as a superhero. You can tell how much he loved the character and the storyline (probably due to the parallels of his own life). You care more about Tony Stark then Iron Man, and that says a lot. Sure, we all love the kick ass high tech suit (that looked amazing) but the man underneath was what drove the story. Most superhero movies you just want to see the superhero in action, but this you want to get to know the human there. Robert Downey Jr was excellent for the entire movie.

The humor is also a nice piece. Not too much so it’s corny and not too little that it’s super serious for a Marvel movie. It’s witty and adds a bit of charm to the characters and their dialogue, especially for Downey. Some laugh out loud parts that are placed perfectly within the story, it stays serious during the parts it should, and the action is awesome.

The ending fucking ruled, sure it shamelessly left the door open for a sequel, but I'm actually excited about the aforementioned sequel.

Last but not least, the scene after the muthfuckin' credits gave me a mental orgasm.

Saw it a few days ago. HOLYSHIT.

Better then Batman for me, at least it didnt take them what, 7 movies to figure out who the fuck to do the character.

Now the problem is, most of Iron Man's normal villians blow ass. Hard. Who else they going to have come at him?

He'll be in the new Hulk movie, but not in the Wolverine movie, they're planning a Cpt. America one to set up the Avengers in 2011 supposedly, but think of how expensive an Avengers movie would be =/

I heard Thor is going to have a small cameo in Iron Man 2, setting up his own movie.

I just cant see Luke Cage. That guy's always sucked. Spiderman started sucking bad in 3 as well, too many bad guys, emo! Spidey was fail.

Cappy might be good, Ant-man... hell no. Black Panther no. Deathlok... uh... hes one of the worst characters ever.

Dr. Strange would be good, Magneto and Nick Fury, Venom if they make him right, and get rid of that idiot they had in S3, he was way too small.

Ghost Rider 2 would be good if they kept Cage and made Ghosty badass.

There was talk of a Deadpool movie with Ryan Reynolds starring, but the character got put in the Wolverine movie. Hopefully his character gets done really well and he gets his own movie later on.

Supposedly the next movie will deal with The Mandarin, War Machine, and his alcoholism. Should be pretty fun.

lol poor Tony. I'd feel sorry for him if only he didn't fucking deserve it.

After seeing Iron Man one of my friends was actually pretty excited about getting into the comics. I had to mournfully explain to him that 616 Stark isn't anywhere near as cool as his movie counterpart.

I still don't get the difference between 616 and Ultimates. And where the fuck did the numbers 616 come from?
