Oh my god...I just came to the realization that Harry’s indeed emo … I mean in cannon he wallows in self pity, is shy and bashful and doesn’t have any remembrance of a backbone and most of all he is sad because he is destined to kill or be killed by the one who eradicated his parents. I’m not an excessively violent guy but I would do *anything* to stay alive in those circumstances and hopefully kill that motherfucker and the fact that I would became a killer would be the last thing on my mind. Actually the only thing he's missing from a true emo’s repertoire is the abnormally tight clothes…don’t you agree?

The fact that you take the term 'emo' and use it to stereotype a group of people and imply that they are all shy, bashful, depressed, and weak minded, seems to me as if you have certain prejudical issues concerning people and the music they listen to.

Harry Potter is not emo. If anyone has a right to wallow in self pity, it is Harry. Lets see he was abused as a child, people have been trying to kill him since he was born, and he sucks when it comes to finding a good girlfriend. The only thing he really has going for him is that he doesn't have acne, and I don't see that being the thing that defeats Tom. Also, being emo is not just about wallowing in self pity, it is also about cutting.lol...Seriously though people need to stop using the word emo if they don't know what it means.
