    This topic is so full of vague assumptions and bullshit i think my IQ dropped a few points reading it.

    We only know what canon stated and logic doesn´t apply to Harry Potter´s world so from what we have seen Harry has a decent amount of money.

    If you do consider the fact that 1000 galleons fit in a pouch (Triwizard winnings) and the "Mountains" of gold Harry is described to have he as at least 50k galleons.
    1000 galleons is consider a LOT of money in HP universe leading me to believe that Harry is probably set for his life, maybe not enough to live a luxury life but still enough to not have to work.

    Well, i pulled that out of my ass? Are you satisfied? Doesn´t say anything though...

    The amount that fits in a pouch is moot, as anything and everything can be magically expanded.
    Regarding the mountains of gold, you have to remember that the Harry who described that had lived as what could best be described as a poorly treated servant his entire life till then. So even the smallest amount of wealth would seem like an inordinately large sum. Also the exact word used in the book is "mounds" and not "mountains", see the difference?
    So while I think Harry is well off, I wouldn't say he was set for life. I'm not sure about this, but I vaguely remember Harry wanting to buy the Firebolt but thinking that if he bought it his account would more or less empty out. Firebolts are bloody expensive, but so is living in England without working your entire life.
