There is no casual mention of a lot of things. JK dug herself a whole herre. Not that she could have avoided it (the stuff would have seemed crazy) but Harry really is TOO ignorant.

I agree with Midknight though. THe holes make it fun SOMEWHAT. Too many (like she has) and we're left wondering if the kid's retarded (which he probably is).

 

Unfortunatley Jk is a retard person. Can harry become stupider? After 3rd year KNOWING that wormtail will help the DL come back, he still longs only for quidditch. 4th year, he glimpses and sees the voldy is coming back, what he does NADA. 5th year, Riddle is back, what does harry do? wank on cho's picture, he really is a fucking retard.

 

I reckon we write a letter on behalf of DLP to JKR asking her to make harry turn evil... weeeeeeeee

She will of course not do it, but it might bring her attention to DLP.

Totally. If JKR didn't put so many holes in her books, then I think not all of us would be here today.
But yeah, Harry is a pretty daft fool, but at least he's a likeable daft fool. Occasionally, I fall into a JKR-hating rant but you've got to admit - she has all on Harry's side. Who didn't hate Ron when he and Harry had that arguement? Who wasn't on Harry's side when he was ranting at Ron and Hermione early on in OoTP (Actually, don't answer that one). As much as she has screwed up the Harry Potter book series and as much as HBP could have been fanfiction, I've just got to say - she's a great writer.

And yeah, that parody/plot hole would make a pretty sweet one-shot, if a little insubstantial.
