I just got a macbook for Christmas that has a built in webcam. The problem is that the light, which shows when the camera is filming, is suddenly always on. Also, all the programs that use the camera just show blank screens when I try to use them.

I admit that I am somewhat freaked out about this, as if some freak can make your computer turn on and off and shit than he can certainly turn on your camera and watch you

So, if any of you have a mac and know how to get rid of this problem, could you please help?

I've been flipping off the camera and saying (since there is also a mini-mic) 'Fuck you, George Bush' all day for the off chance it really was the CIA...
