    Title: It's All the Same
    Author: Abler
    Rating: M
    Genre: Horror, Oneshot
    DLP Category: Dark Arts
    Pairing: None
    Status: Complete
Summary: Dumbledore comes to Azkaban to release a wrongly convicted Harry Potter. Not everything goes as expected. AU OneShot
    Link: It's All the Same

A delightful little piece of writing. It's short, only 1,542 words, but definitely worth adding to the Library - takes every Azkaban cliche and kicks it in the ass. Harry's last words make the fic.

    4/5

Perfect premise for a one-shot, but the dialogue was too lifeless to make it enjoyable to read. Some more detail or atmosphere could have helped. The twist would have made more of an impact had the author emphasized how absolutely certain Dumbledore was that Harry was innocent.

    3/5.

It is indeed a very good one-shot, I have the feeling that it's been done before but it's only a feeling I'm by no means certain.

The ending is wonderful makes me think of

the evil side of bipolar Gollum in the LoTR films.

It certainly reaches the 3/5 rating but I'm very wary of rating it any higher just because it still gives me the feeling that it's been copied from somewhere, but heck I'll give it 4/5 because I definitely enjoyed it.

I dunno about this... the dialogue felt stilted, the writing was lackluster, and I'm still not convinced that this is library-worthy. I didn't like it, probably because I've seen better Azkaban fics recently, and this doesn't measure up, even as a oneshot. I'm giving this 2/5 for solid writing and its shortness, but nothing higher.

Speaking of good Azkaban fics... Andromalius, you are going to update "The Strangergod", right?

It was just short piece of nothing. Dumbledore felt OOC, Harry wasn't even Harry.

Overall writing was average, grammar, spelling and narration were good enough, but something had to be terribly wrong because I, the reader, at any moment of reading, felt only one thing: boredom.

Eh, for the length it was entertaining enough. Semi-decent twist at the end. Does it belong in the library though? It's more of a drabble than a story and I don't think I'll ever have the urge to read it again.

Lets see. It needed more atmosphere. Harry needed a damn bit of more life, and Dumbledore, unless he is being exaggerated for a plot reason I certainly didn't detect was very very very OOC--to the point of being as cold and lifeless as this story.

    I give this a 1/5.

I didn't enjoy it that much either. Seemed pretty lifeless. 1/5 from me, too.

I enjoyed it to a certain extent. The wind-up was obvious as hell, and the delivery a bit lackluster, but it still rates a 3.5/5 on my scale.

It's done too quickly, it's too short, to be at it's most effective. It's okay, but not good.

3/5, since that's the middle ground here.

I'll give it a 3/5. It just read to me like the author had the idea and then rushed through the writing process--almost as if he'd be glad to be rid of it.

Speaking of rushing--Any news on an update, Darren?

Couldn't really get into the story. Kind of knew what was going to happen before the ending really happened. The writing was okay and Harry was a bit OOC. 2/5

It's an interesting premise, but the execution lacks a certain fluidity that would make it flow smoothly. The sentences are choppy and lackluster. I think it could have done with a bit more fleshing-out and a little bit more dialogue to put things into perspective. 3/5 Decent but not great.
