Right so she says that one person gets a reprieve...that's going to be either Snape or Draco surely? I'm going with Snape because Dumbledore trusts him IMPLICITLY, If we think about it we know that Dumbledore knows practically everything going on in Hogwarts so hes going to know how Snape treats Harry etc but he still tells everyone how much he trusts Snape. Much as we like to think that Dumbledore is a senile old man i very much DOUBT that he would trust someone who basically sealed the death warrant of Lily and James without having more evidence than his 'repentance' Draco, I think he's too much of a coward to ever truly step out from his fathers shadow.

I think that the two people who die could be any of the following:
Remus Lupin: Last of the Marauders and Pettigrew was given a silver hand...coincidence?
Bellatrix Lestrange: Neville hunts her down and kills her to avenge his parents blah blah *puke*
Percy Weasley: The estranged member of the Weasleys who dies before any form of reconciliation can occur.
...scratch that...ANY WEASLEY!: No family of 9 is going to survive intact.
Severus Snape: Jumps in front of a killing curse to save Harry thus repaying all life debts to the potter family, redeeming himself in the eyes of everyone and being awarded a post-humous order of merlin whilst Harry forever beats himself up over the fact that he couldnt see his innocence.

To be quite honest, I dont even care anymore. Im sure that i will read the 7th book, cry over the utter clicheness of it and then go and read some decent fanfiction.

 

If she is going to get hate mail, it means two characters who will be missed.

Voldemort is definitely going to die, but he's not going to be one of the two.

So I say, Harry and Ron. They die to save their girlfriends.

 

DLR, I thought she was more refering to the fact that if she said something then later wrote something else because she changed her mind, she would get hate mail, not because of who the two characters were.

 

Meh, take it anyway you want. I just figured she didn't want to be yelled at for killing off two favored characters.

 

If JKR kills ginny/hermione/ron
any combo of the 3 or all 3
thats the only way she can redeem herself in my book
especially after HBP.

i mean lets not worry about the two people killed.
lets worry more about all of the plot holes she has to fill in one book.
or she could do what she has been doing lately and just leave the pot holes wide open and not care.
i also want to see how shes gonna get herself out of this horcux mess.
cause honestly theres a lot to be done in one book as far as defeating voldemort goes.

 

She already has a thriving billion dollar empire and is richer than the queen, do you really think she gives a fuck?

 

Snape jumps into an AK for Harry, Malfoy Jr. gets the reprieve because he didnt kill AD in the end and is therefore an innocent.
You cannot kill the innocent as the moral of a JKR-HP story.But you have to punish the guilty so that they can die as martyrs. So Snape will be the good guy after all, very good to know after he died.
But that wont disturb Harry, because he was never really the reflective type. And in the end Voldemort will die. I just hope that she keeps Gryffs sword out of it.

 

What about the Dursleys? there kinda main characters, what if its them? with Voldie trying to kill his family, well whats left of it anyway.That would serouosly suck if it was just them, i personally want Harry to die.Havent figured that part out yet but Voldie dies as well.And the last chapter could be Harrys funeral of sumfin and the last word JK said was 'scar' they could be it disapears or they will always remember the scar..lol

 

The last chapter seems too late in the book for the Dursley's death though. If she is going to kill them off, I would think she wouldn't wait till the end of the fight. It wouldn't really have any meaning then.
