Jennifer's Body is a 2009 dark comedy and horror film written by Diablo Cody. The film, described as similar in tone to Heathers, will be directed by Karyn Kusama, and stars Megan Fox as the title character, Amanda Seyfried as her best friend Needy, and Adam Brody as the antagonist Nikolai. The movie is named after a song by Hole.

The film follows Jennifer (Megan Fox), a mean-girl cheerleader possessed by a demon who begins feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town. It is then up to her "plain Jane" best friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried) to kill Jennifer, escape from a correctional facility and go after lead singer Nikolai (Adam Brody) and his Satan-worshiping rock band responsible for the transformation.

To be honest, it looks pretty pathetic... but there haven't been many good horror films out lately so I'll probably go to see it anyway. If it hits the big screens that is >_>.

 

We all know the only reason anyone is paying attention to this is Fox.

 

Which, consequently, means that it has little chance of being good, but a high probability of looking good. Psst. Pass.

 

The movie itself will most likely suck, but most people will watch it because Megan Fox is in it. She also is topless in one scene so you know people will go watch it, just for that.

 

Am I the only one here struck by how odd the best friend's name is? Needy? What exactly are they trying to say about her? She's emotionally needy and cannot keep any stable relationships?

Or is it possibly a bit more subtle?

Like maybe...she needs the cock.
