Check out this shit

Rowlings has announced a new book... of which only one copy is for sale... and six copies to be given out as gifts.

Okay, the one copy is for charity... but still.

The thing that chaps my hide on this is that the release is a press event.
Why make such a fuss? Why not just make them and quietly give them out. No press release, no coverage?

Or if she was just going to try and raise money... put them all up for auction... or make it a single copy release to really jack up the value of that one copy for charity.

Damn... I checked the list and didn't see one at the time. oh well. I'll see about getting it deleted. (goes looking for a mod)
