"weird" kills tend to signal "the scum are in the strong players/towncore" in my experience, THAT said, there's a wifom component to it and it's almost never something you can, like, really use as evidence. but you often look back at the end of the game and go like "well yeah, now that kill makes sense, they couldn't kill X"

I have thoughts about the Cobalt wagon but I'm not really sure about them. Mostly I think it's concerning that he was up for contention day 1, seems irregular to me and my automatic response to that is it means his wagon was probably scum driven... except why would they bother when Wisp is the default yeet? And obviously there's the world where Cobalt is just mafia and I'm being stupid by thinking that. I've never played with scum!Cobalt and this town isn't like, super DLP times so the way people treat him might be off, or whatever.

I don’t think just anyone would make that kill. Bare minimum, I agree that stronger players would be thinking about who could replace in, and would prioritize dealing with that rather than eliminate an existing player.
