I shouldn't have tried to give a fonti read yesterday, because I hadn't processed it enough yet. I still haven't, but I've processed it more, enough to realize that I was thinking in black and white terms about my read on her, i.e., that it had to be either a townread or a scumread. I think the more natural conclusion of the reasoning as it stood then (essentially, "not her towngame, but also not her wolfgame?") was just a nullread. I'll share my fonti read when I have it, but that is not now. I don't think anyone here needs to rely on me to read fonti for them, and I'm not really comfortable being classed as the resident fonti reader anyway, so that hopefully shouldn't be an issue.

Eh, that's typical Town!Jarizok to me though, I've seen him make big cases on players that were very clearly town but he'd misread before, I've seen him case scum before, and there's always just a bunch of things in the case that are like ????? It's possible that I'm getting too much into a Cobalt/Jarizok aren't W/W and I think Cobalts a wolf thing to sway me though, so you're right there.

Not sure I'm going to be able to convince anyway on Jari, my read on him is notoriously shitty.

I literally just like his Cobalt read. I think Sloth and Rubicon are right that a lot of the reasoning in the case is not great, but that's scum indicative for Jari. I don't think I've seen his cases be really great. I think Sloth is focusing more in on the bad parts of the case and in the process missing out on the actual gems, mainly the staticness, the softness Cobalt approached me with, and the weirdness of Cobalt using Gemma's read while not townreading Gemma.

There's an argument to be made that Jari is super chill and that's more towny for him. He's posting words about the things he cares about, his readlist generally fits with how I think he'd be perceiving the game as town, and he doesn't seem all that bothered about the prospect of being yeeted again. But I don't know if any of those things are actually all that town indicative for him.

Will do Cuth next, since I feel more certain on him.

Like, I understand your issue with Jari's case here, Rubicon, but Jari's cases are basically always bad, it's just how he plays the game. You have filter out that 80% of bullshit.

Yeah I think you're on the exact same wavelength / position I am at with Jarizok, and it mostly just ends up with a very weak town read.

What the fuck kind of excuse even is this?

Jari’s case on me is admittedly 80% bullshit but “that’s just Jari hurr durr”

    what?!??

    Yeah.

Definitely 100% would not clear him, and if Cobalt suddenly became clear, I'd be willing to look at Jari again. I want Cuth more though. If Cuth is town and this tilts him and prevents him from showing that, so be it.

Think I prefer a Jari dunk pretty heavily over a Cobalt/Cuth dunk. Will elaborate when at a PC.
