Hermione's probably the only one out of trio, that I think hasn't been completely mangled.

 

Color me unsurprised; both in regard to Hermione and how old the others look.

I thought wizards lived longer, which usually equates to aging more slowly, but the movies gave us a gray-haired McGonagall, as has already been mentioned, and the prematurely ancient (though only 21 and 20, respectively, at death) Lily and James Potter. Is it the stress of living with your name on someone's hit list? Or...

Apparently in the Harry Potter afterlife, you keep aging until your body, too frail to support its own weight, turns to dust and you die completely. This officially gives us a fictional afterlife that's an even BIGGER crapsack world than the shit-hole Soul Society in Bleach.

It's no surprise, then, that Harry at 37 looks like he's a few years away from looking as old as my dad is now at 63.

Anyone else notice the cage full of... rats(?) being wheeled by in that last video? I hope those aren't supposed to be familiars for any of the Potters or Weasleys. Does anyone honestly think that either set of parents would let their children have a rat for a familiar after Pettigrew?

The photo's were silly, but not that funny. They made me chuckle (and I laugh at almost everything), but they aren't as funny as a lot of the pictures in the funny picture thread.

 

And this is why I stopped watching the movies after the 4th one. Ron is supposed to be an auror, why does he look like a 60 year old, out of shape, grandpa? Harry may look old too, but at least he looks like he could still be useful.

Of course Hermione looks by far the best out of all of them, which is completely not surprising.

Harry gets Molly Weasley v. 2.0 while Ron gets the hot girl. Meh, this is why I don't give a shit about canon anymore.

On the bright side, Hermione is probably cheating on him with one of his younger coworkers while giving him a perfunctory fuck once a week.

They just overcompensated.
They think that everyone watching is a total retard, so to make it obvious, that this happens a few years later, they just made everyone old. Otherwise they thought nobody would notice.
(Reminds me of Star Trek: Nemesis where they had a picture of the young Picard - with a shaved head, because you know - Picard is the bald one.)
