Was browsing through the forum, didn't see this thread, couldn't believe it. Mods can go ahead and delete this if this is a repost.

Justified is the shit. It's on FX, stars Timothy Olyphant U.S. Marshall Raylan Givens. Pacing can be a little wonky sometimes, but I generally really enjoy this show. Anybody else watch it? This season, while I've really enjoyed it, has felt a little cluttered and convoluted sometimes.

    Concerning last week's episode...

I'm not real sure what I think of last weeks episode. That whole scene in the bar with Quarles and Raylan... Epic scene was epic. But on the other hand, it feels really out of character for Quarles to come up and flat out tell Raylan that he was going to kill him. I've always got the sense that Quarles isn't a fan of pointless posturing and so on. Scene was awesome though.

Loved it since it first started. I hate shows nowadays that make light of cops killing people. In this series Raylan kills a handful of people but everytime he does there is usually somesort of shit storm that follows. Like it would in real life. NCIS kills about 6 people an episode and act like they don't have to file a report or worry about getting suspended.

This season has been a little slow (atleast compared to the others) but the show as a whole ranks with SOA imo. Good characters that are mostly gray but still have a sence of honor. I love Timothy Olyhant. Dude is straight reincarnating an ol'western. Looks like Eastwood out there in his prime.

    As for last episode
I think Quarles coming out and blatantly threatening him was all to sell the idea that he was lossing control. Which he obviously was. Pills and whatnot everywhere. That closing scene where he does a few lines of powder while giving himself a pep talk was chilling.

Justified is most definitely one of my favorite shows. Started watching it back in November and got myself caught up quickly enough. One of the major strengths of the show is the depth of characterization I think. Quarles, Boyd, Arlo, etc... Everyone feels like a real human being.

This show is definitely one of the best on tv. The best parts in my opinion are the conversation between Raylan and Boyd. Anytime they are in a room together it is hands down the best thing on tv. You know that although they might not always get along when the shit hits the fan they have each others back.

Raylan has that laid back swagger and grin that says you might think your the shit, but in a straight gunfight I will blow a hole in the middle of your face without blinking. He says in the beginning if he pulls his firearm he shoots to kill. And that tells you all you need to know about Raylan.

Yeah, I like it to. The only other show that deals with the fallout of killing people is Flashpoint, which is also pretty good.

I'm waiting for someone to outdraw Raylan...

But I absolutely love this show. Olyphant's character archetype began back in Deadwood, if any of you ever saw that. I guarantee someone in Hollywood decided they wanted that character back on TV in some way, shape or form. Raylan's always one step away from losing his cool when angry but when relaxed he pulls off his swagger so well that it makes me think Olyphant himself is like that in person.

I could watch the show for Raylan alone but the supporting cast also does an amazing job making you enjoy all of their interactions.

I wish FX had a bigger budget. They make the best television shows in several genres. Only Community competes for me in comedy versus Archer, It's Always Sunny and now Unsupervised. Don't think I watch any drama that competes with Justified. And these only scratch the surfaced of what FX offers.

Don't forget SOA. Fantastic show. And archer has some of the best one liner background sarcasm.
