TBH, I might be a little biased. This fanfiction holds good memory to me and that memory will not be fucked with by rereading it. But from what I could remember it was about the greatest thing when Shezza and Joe were off having teh buttsex. It's superpowered, yes. I don't recall how he became superman

But still, him cutting off his dick was a real good plot device. It will make it a more enjoyable experience for everyone therein DLP.

Also, it's my first recommendation. Hopefully my ass won't be too blistered after this.

but I doubt it's all that nessessary to make him as un-fucking-beatable as Alucard. I was more interested in him killing and murdering everyone since that's all I look forward to nowadays in fanfictions. If you want to know how fucking superpowered he is, look at Godzilla and Japan. Just like those Rice Farmers, these chinky eyed bastards don't stand a fucking chance!

Apparently in this story he has powers that use darkness to grab people, he is fooling everyone with his exceptional acting skills, and he is also making Zombies by the end of chapter 2 .........

Sure thing, boss man.

So I've skimmed through about 5 chapters now, and...bleh. It's so freaking wordy. Each paragraph is basically just a summary of a period of time that the author uses to show case his exemplary skills of "Telling not showing". It's so boring I literally cannot bring my eyes to linger on any given part of it for too long.

It's ridden with cliches, which I don't normally care about so long as they're well done, but dear lord, they're all there. Abusive Villagers: check (seriously here's a line from the fic Konohagakure, 'The Demon House' (As the locals call it at least)), Negligent Fool Sarutobi: check, Boy Genius Naruto: check. None of it's done well, it's all just there stated very concisely and if we can't accept it, oh well, time to move on because NOW HE'S CREATING ZOMBIES. So I skim on a little farther, go to the next chapter, and apparently Hiruzen has decided to let Naruto go off on a one year training trip in a cave off god knows where.

1/5. I can barely keep my eyes on it long enough to see the plot.

 

I couldn't get very far, and I won't speak on the cliche's, merely the style of writing... too much telling, and, like most amateur fics, the dialogue is just... shitty. The flow of the sentences is completely unnatural - no one talks like that...

1/5. The one is because I'm a Naruto fan.

 

I actually started reading this when it was new, and really enjoyed it then. Then. I've developed some standards since, and now would consider this more of a guilty pleasure fic then anything.

It's a Naruto/One Piece/Dresden Files crossover, by the way. The zombies and a few main characters are from some one piece movie, Naruto's shadow abilities seem to be taken from that same movie and crossed over with Nicodemus's abilities. A large portion of Naruto's power comes from having read Kemmler's books, and the most recent arc of the story with any plot revolved around trying to keep Naruto from getting his hands on the Word of Kemmler and performing the Darkhallow.

Naruto is ridiculously overpowered, and the story was written in such a way that he can't possibly lose. I've heard (and it's mentioned in one of the latter Author's Notes) Artful Lounger compared to Perfect Lionheart, and it isn't a bad comparison.

The story it's self is, like I said, enjoyable in a guilty pleasure sort of way, if you can get past all the shit. Or, it would be, if Naruto wasn't made completely unlikable in one of the later chapters: In an at the time completely random and out of character moment, Naruto decides to rape a captured Hinata before selling her to cloud nin. Why? The in story explanation seemed to be that he did it because Hinata loved him and her suffering amused Naruto. The reason Artful Lounger gave was that to many readers liked Naruto as the villain and enjoyed his character, so he had Naruto do something completely irredeemable in order to make the readers hate him.

2/5 because it introduced me to the Dresden Files, and while pretty shit, it can be entertaining for a while.
