Well, here's another trailer that I just got finished looking at 2 minutes ago. I figured that you guys would love it and I can't wait to see this awesome movie.

It's actually called Kick-Ass and it stars Nicholas Cage who actually seems decent in the movie. Here's the trailer:

Looks kind-of cheezy, but I'm looking forward to it. Who doesn't love cussing little murdering loli's?

 

A classmate of mine described this to me a month ago, and I thought it was awesome then. It looks even more amazing now.

Seems like they're using Hit-girl to draw everyone in, even though she isn't supposedly the main character. But I haven't really researched the comic this is based on, so I could be incorrect. Anyone have more information?

 

The trailer looks fun. I'll probably go see it, but then again I've been saying that lately about a lot of movies that I didn't go to see.

But either way, if definitely has the potential to be great. But it's going to be a fine line between keeping the characters realistic and within the bound of us normal human beings, and emphasizing that point, as it seems that is what the movies is/going to be about; as opposed to going completely overboard and having Hit-Girl be a Mary-Sue or some shit.

 

The main character seems to be the dude - the titular Kick-Ass - but I guess the big cheese types up top thought Hit Girl warranted her own trailer. A swearing little loli with an impressive number of kills just in the trailer? Kinda funny enough for me to want to see this movie.

 

Was that the Banana Splits theme song in the Hit Girl trailer?

I'm just going to celebrate that I have no idea what "Banana Splits" is (apart from a delicious ice cream snack), much less the theme song for it.

Why on earth did they hyphenate Kick Ass? no way I'm going to watch this movie now.

Also, this sounds horrible.

 

The Banana Splits was a "kiddie" show from the late sixties. Kids Hit-girls age would have been just about the top of the viewing market.

It is really funny if you watched the show to see a little girl go all ultra violence to the theme song. One of those things for the mom and dad's that have to take the kids to the movie, sorta.
But what do I know?

To bad she's just a side character. I wonder what's will the trailer be rated as. It's not like those words aren't used by 12 year olds anyways in this day and age. The games 8 year olds play are a lot more violent too.

 

I saw the trailer recently and I am actually kind of looking forward to this, even though i have never read the comics.

And if they try to draw people in by giving Hit-Girl more screentime in the trailer than in the movie itself, well, it is working for me

This looks damned funny, while also having some semblance of a plot. Even Nic Cage looks like he won't fail too hard, which he's done in his last batch of action movies (Ghostrider, Next, and that wizard-type shit that hasn't been released yet).
