    Title: Know Thyself: The Prelude
    Rating: T for Teen
    Author: hoshi-tachi
    Genre: Sci-fi/Adventure
    DLP Genre: The Alternates
Summary: HP and Matrix crossover. What if Neo wasn't the One...what if the One was a little boy with green eyes...? AU, warnings for child abuse and violence. Complete

This is a crossover with The Matrix if you haven't figured it out yet. I personally think that it is pretty good, but that's just my opinion.

Its sequel can be found http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2591379/1/Know_Thyself there but it is as of yet unfinished, unfortunatly. And it was just beginning to get good... I doubt it will be updated any time soon as it has been about a year and a month since chapter 6 came out.

    3/5.

The child!Harry isn't fun to read, and it'll never reach the second of the seven stories the author planned out.

I have to agree with Andy here. ChildHarry isn't really my taste either.

Just when you think you've seen it all, along comes a HP/Matrix crossover. Wow... just wow.

I remember this story. I thought it was pretty good when it came out. I don't know if it's aged well though. Oh, it's been edited-- now I'm wondering how different it'll be. Looks like I'll have to reread it.

I'm waiting for an HP/Rush Hour crossover.

As for the story, won't rate cause I didn't complete even a couple of chapters.

    It just doesn't seem interesting...

Why is every-single-bloody-chapter named after a song name?!

    Sounds like a winner.

I can see it now, Morpheus saying to Harry "You think thats a wand your holding?"

Child!Harry: Yes I know, usually he isn't very fun to read because, well, children are rarely going to be confident in anything and this isn't any different than usual.

Matrix: There are plenty of explanations for this but it is not yet fully explained even still.

Books: Yes, I doubt they'll get finished. Pity.

Edited: Yes, I do love those. Many unedited need to be, well... nixed.

I remember reading this one back then and I liked it a lot. Standards are higher these days though so I'm not sure how this story will be judged. I remember it being a good story but then again I liked a lot of crap back then too. Rating withheld unless I reread this story.

Personally, I read it when it was unedited and backed away a little. Edited, it's pretty good. I also don't like Child!Harry much, but I suppose it works for the story. I like most of hoshi-tachi's stuff, so really, I can't complain. It's better than most crossovers floating around even if the cross is... odd.

Not only that, but the author couldn't resist having Harry abused, and everyone and their mother is outraged and pities him.

Good to hear it isn't abandoned.

Lol, it's like the author updated just to spite you.

Anyway, I'm off to read it, and see if it's any better.

Loved this back in 2005(?) when I read it on FicWad. The story seemed to have a fairly good start, but time has made me less tolerant to Wimp!Harry.

Will wait until the author puts up a couple of chapters before rereading and rating.
