SerDel: Netherlands is known as Holland by a lot of people in English. I think it used to be called Holland and changed, but I really have no idea. There was a comedian who had a funny skit where he remarked that if the Netherlands were still called Holland, then the Benelux (Belgium Netherlands Luxembourg) region would be called the Beholux region. ;)

EDIT: Just got 105 countries on Sree's link. His cousin is a freak, I spent the last 5 minutes staring at the screen thinking 'DURRRR'.

Holland is a province in the Netherlands but Belgian(Flemish) also often call the Dutch Hollanders.

I got 120 with the other version. The Carribean area and the islands on the east side of the world were too hard. I can't believe that I forgot Croatia in Europe.

Edit: later one I had 134 but I still missed some more obvious ones.

108 on Sree's Link. Not only you see the map, but you also have 15 minutes.

EDIT: 128 On the second one. I don't see myself scoring more.

133 on the other game. It's pretty frustrating to miss a country because you can't spell it in English.:(

Got 84 on the second one, but I got most of Europe and 50% of Asia. I have also just found out that I know all of six of the African countries <_<.

Ah, that link is better. 90 on my first try. And lol, I forgot Ireland, but remembered Burkina Faso and Burundi :awesome

But I agree, the different spelling is slowing me down. Why do you call it Kenya? Kenia is perfectly fine ... took me ages to find that one out ;)

66 on the first try. Would have been around 70 to 75 if I knew the English spelling of several other countries... (Tajikistan? Libya? What the fuck?)

EDIT: After looking up the correct English names of the "~stans" I got 141 on Srees link. With the visualization of the map, it was way easier to go through all the countries I know - especially in Africa and South America. I'm missing out mostly in the islands in South-Eastern Asia and still quite a few ones in Western Africa. Got most of the rest, though.
