After reading the that Mirror of Erised has a filter (and with my mind still reeling from Vash's Oedipus Flower), I just had a most disturbing idea for a fic involving Harry, the mirror and some incest. Well, not really incest, but you see where I'm going with this.

I hate how my mind works.

It's been done by a DLPer I think. Harry finds a Mirror that is like the Mirror of Erised, but shows an alternate dimension instead. He sees a fem!harry through the mirror and they the saying "the only one who knows how to please Harry is Harry" comes into play, if you catch my drift.

The story is actually Amerision's Equal and Opposite. He dropped Across the Mirror and rewrote it in this fic.

We all know what canon Harry sees in the mirror, maybe he has a little bit of an obsession with mommy and daddy? Maybe his heart's greatest desire isn't so innocent and pure?

Just a thought.

BTW, Equal and Opposite was very good. Is it in the library? I should go check.

Heh, just got the urge to see a Voldemort-looks-in-the-mirror fic where it shows his genuine desires during the course of the series (book one being himself with a body, book two being Tom in a corporeal form, four being reborn Voldemort standing over Harry Potter's corpse, etc.). Could be a half decent in depth exposition on Voldemort's psyche, perhaps with a pre-series look in the mirror too, for contrast.
