In that thing you call a closet. Better watch out,
No. You did it because you tried to make a point that you felt he wasn't qualified enough to rate your work because he hadn't had written as many stories/words as you.

Wow this story is a blast from the past. I followed this for a long time, and yes it was written before quite a few things in it were cliche in general fanfiction.

I still remember some moments where I totally fanboy'd it. This one line I can't forget, "Don't Challenge the Phoenix Wizard Albus Dumbledore." I probably cheered Possessed!Harry on out loud at that point. If I remember correctly the line was also in all bold etc.

This was definitely one of my favorites and looking back a story I enjoyed a great deal. I did drop the fic after Ron became the heir of Ravenclaw - I was in my 'hate Weasley' phase and the whole superfriends (tm) thing just got to me.

That said, I feel that this fic had a lot to offer in its time. DLP readership is a lot more demanding. Ironically it is less demanding these days than it used to be. But members here are more prone to dissect things and old HP hallmarks like Power of Time etc are quite easily turned over their ear for their blatant fanboyisms and writing quality.

The argument that you can't critique w/o having written something yourself has never flown here. I wish I had old links when this came up, it's been over a year this issue got heated again. But, Nedved, you will find a lot of HP fanfic heavy hitters post their stories here, and are members of this same community, and do take their licks and give out critique regularly. Nonjon, Joe, jBern, Shezza88 come to mind off the top of my head but the list includes a lot more.

As a fan of your stories I'll ask that you take a little time to get used to the culture here, it is actually very good and very helpful. Especially if you want to evolve as a writer. FF.net reviews stroke one's ego a lot more than one's here.

And if you really want to judge people by their writing, you're welcome to my profile. There is a marked improvement from earlier chapters to current chapters. No, I don't get as many reviews as nonjon or shezza, but if your standard is only authors who get as much recognition as you, just look around FF.net to see how many shitty stories have thousands of fangirls sqeeing their life blood into them.

    Nuhuh's FanFics

I hope you don't take these reviews personally and can stick around to become a part of the community. You'll see a lot of familiar names.

    yeah. Probably.

Well, I guess everyone has their opinion. If they can voice theirs and say what they wantto say, i don't mind throwing one or two back in their direction. Believe me i've seen all sorts of commentary. Lol.

"This deserves no higher than a 2/5, and that's me being generous. No way it warrants a place in our library."

I was curious to see how good this dude was if he could make remarks like that. Seemed like he has an arsenal of stories and a vast repertoire to lord it over with such supremacy so I checked him out. Y'know, he got my attention, so as a fellow writer I would at least make the effort to drop in.

Lol maybe I shouldn't have bothered.

    Boom!

This was so much better in my memories... :( 3/5 for nostalgia and some kickass action scenes.

Oh man, how did this pile of crap end up in here. I must have read these about 2 years ago now. It's still makes me cringe.

    For nostalgia alone, i'd give this a 5/5, actual DLP wise, i'd give this a 2, maybe a 3.

Man, this fic moved me back in the day though. I found it sad, very sad.

I refuse to read it again however, it will ruin my memory of it.
