It has awesome linup for voices that are perfect for their role even some of the voice choices are funny(Superman as Tatum and Green Lantern as Jonah Hill). The movie itself looks amazing, the story is very basic(very I've-learned-something-at-the-end type) but the ending was ruined for me by
    the live acting
I watched the movie theatre full of children and I realized that most of the times I laughed the children were just staring bored, because they didn't get the references. So I can safely say that no matter the age you will enjoy some part of it.

    Here are some videos:

The Lego Movie Complete B-ROLL (2014) Some voice actors during the takes(sadly no Morgan Freeman)

    Trailer

The LEGO Movie - "Behind the Bricks"(Morgan Freeman, yay)

    Teaser

The Lego Movie: How They Made the Movie - Animation

There is also a LEGO The movie Videogame that is similiar to all the other LEGO games, but I advise against playing it till you see the film because it contains scenes directly from the film.

    Have fun!

I was proud to be the only adult male in the theater not accompanied by children.

It was funny. Not gut-busting, but it'll certainly make you giggle.

You know, being the only adult male in the cinemas without kids - watching a children's movie - is usually a very bad sign.

In fact, why don't you have a seat over there...

I wasn't alone. It would only have been bad if I'd been alone.

Watched this last night and I have to say it was pretty enjoyable. Makes me want to get a kit and just make stuff......

Initially went with my brother who, at the cinema, was adamant that it was weird as there were loads of kids. Though they were there with their families. Took my youngest brother to a late show, 9pm, and hardly no kids.

The film could have gone 12a as most of the movie would have gone over the kids heads.
