I think Uncle Stojil just means he hopes the story isn't so bad that it makes him want to slit his wrists, which is understandable.

I actually have Harry disabled in a fic I'm writing(the one I started for the dark arts contest). Although it's more of a side-plot than anything and it's really more dying than disabled and I can't really vouch for it's quality and have you noticed how I seem to really like run on sentences?

You know, despite everything and the ridiculous angst, I like broken beyond healing. It had some quite interesting plot points and developed well once the angst was done with. Maybe a guilty pleasure fic, sure. But I liked it.

 

A story with Harry finding out that he got cancer and then dealing meth so that his family could live happily ever after would be fun to read.

 

I read a story once that had his brother as the BWL and Harry was mute. Can't remember if it was good, don't remember who wrote it, and will probably deny ever reading it if I read it again. This seems to happen with most fics I used to read...

 

I think that was a DLP WBA story. Years back, like in 2007?

Also, anyone know of any stories where Harry's the HP version of River Tam? Or something along those lines?

How much sense does it make for the title to be "Broken Beyond Healing" when he "gets a new body" and "becomes pretty strong & independent"?

You mock me, but it's a very serious mental disorder and the last thing the world needs is to take it lightly. Its scientific name is Pokemonitis and it's spreading at such a high rate you will all be subjected to it in a matter of months. Yes, I know you get a whole bunch of results for 'mute Harry', but of the ~50 I trolled through, 45 of them were slash. Fuck that noise.
