Ok, first thing's first, it has Hr and Ginny, but that's the thing it's Hr AND Ginny...and for me harem fics are always good especially when it's well written like this one. Basically Harry takes 3 brides, but they all die to Voldemort in chapter 1 of the 1st story. But then he ends up in an AU world (story explains it) where he get to do it over again. Basically the story is about how Harry's going to be able to bang all his girls and kill Voldemort.

Fun eh? You bet since he's basically a 18/19 year old in a 12 year old body. And the bonds apparently is transfered. Expect some weird/hot? 12 year old on 12 year old action, but their mental age is closer to 20. Add in Harry's has a female twin Rose Potter, who gets taken along for the ride.

Incest: I won't sugar coat it because I do think it's close enough to scientific/genetic based definition of incest, a magical/fantasy adaptation but one nevertheless. It says that they won't "explicitly" touch each other...but come on... :roll:

But at the same time, since it's fantasy, I like it a lot (I read some sibling Incest erotica and rarely have I seen it tastefully done. People need to take course on human psycology or something) Anyway, there's a scene in chapter 3 of 4 of this story where Harry and his sister manages to give Ginny an organism or something. And another where Harry experiences a female organism via the bond through his sister.

The amout of sexual tension just oozes from the pages, seriously, but I found it's done in good taste and isn't porn at all. There's a lot of good descriptions and explanations for everything. The only fear I have is that Harry is going to be turned Bi by his sister just as he turned his sister bi. But this SEEMS to be no problem (unlike Drt's works) since Harry's personality is dominant in the bond so Rose actually seems to conform to his "needs."

Overall: Romance is central plot, hands down, and I would say this guy knows where to push and how far to push. I would love to be able to try what this guy does, but I admit, I can't. He's using mind control and telepathy or what not a lot so he doesn't actually cross any more barriers than your run of the mill harem story, but he's still pushing it a bit. There is also a disturbing scene where Voldemort rapes via mind control of her brother, a unspecified "young girl."

I started reading this a while back, but it was kinda... crappy. Harry seems all goody-good and family-like, while making a harem for himself.

Agh, I don't know. It's not badly written or anything, but I dropped this after some shitty scenes, where everyone gets together in one happy gay family.

Now that you say it has incest too, I'm kinda glad I stopped reading it.

 

Really? I thought the story's has a fairly dark streak, mainly in the mental conflicts I guess. I admit if I was going to have my Harry go for an AU harem, I would never have made the adults so eager to set up Harry's harem. (Interesting idea hmm...)

Just realized I should give another warning, Harry's twin Rose Potter was molested by Draco in her first year...which is pretty disturbing given the age. That said, I do believe we can or should expect Draco to be castrated painfully at some point...

...ug.... I read this debating whether to move it to the S&P section of the site, or romance, since as summarised the fic sounds like trailer trash smut.

I couldn't bring myself to read beyond 2 chapters. Someone else is going to have to take one for the team and make the call.

I don't think there's need to applogize, we all here like to let off some steam by flaming a crappy story. Especially if it's not all the way bad (as in illiterate and completely stupid), but only generally irritating, with a few OK parts to keep you reading for a little while longer. Just look at the thread for Bobmin's Sunset Over Britain.

 

LOL, nah it's cool, it's more sarcasism then Vash wanting to rip your intestines out and use them as a jump rope.

The post is fine, some folks will like it, just look @ the suggestion of Sunset over Britian, it had potential to be amazing, written by two authors who make H/G almost readable. (bite back the comments folks) Then they mixed in 20% good ideas with 80% whiny angst bullsnot, and deserve to be beaten to death with spaghetti for it.

 

must agree with Mid here; I mean, Sunset's beginning was pretty decent, even if it was a bit too HHr-ish.

But, as this thread is Not about Sunset Over Britain or any of Bobmin365's stories, I would like to get back to the topic at hand.

Generally I enjoy most Harry-Gets-Sent-Back-Into-A-Kid's-Body fics.

Haha, it's ok. I have gotten to the point that I selectively take in parts of stories I read at least for HP ones so I actually didn't read most of chapter 1 or the marriage contact. I concentrated mainly on the bonding dynamics which seemed to be a unusual twist to usual clitches, which was why I suggested it.

Which was the one or more bobmin stories that made you think sunset was under par? I recall reading a bit of that story, but don't recall remembering anything worthwhile...(tried accessing it via jeconais's website last night but was too tired to register and shit, will do later I guess)

 

I think one was called Dumbledore's Army that had some great fight scenes, and the sequel to that, Spritus Crystalus or something similar sounding. Too much fluff, but sound writing, good fight scenes.

 

I will read this fic I think. Harem fics are kinda hard to find. So I will read it. Yes. I am just trying to work up the courage to click on the link...

 

I like this story, it's kinda weird with Rose and Harry but, it's cool too. One of my favorite time travel/Alternate Universe stories I've read. But needs to update. NOW!!!
