    The Trailer

Stephenie Meyer, weep in shame. Just saw it and enjoyed it very much. Not your common vampire/horror flick, that's for sure, but it makes an excellent tale of what a "love story" in the vampire mythos should be, even if it just brushes past all the "vampire" thing.

The trailer looks good and the plot summary on wiki sounds ok.
Its just that it is in Swedish and the boy looks like a a little girl.

    But not to worry
    Edit--
Let the Right One In also known as Let Me In, is a 2004 vampire fiction novel by Swedish writer John Ajvide Lindqvist.

Twilight is a young-adult vampire-romance novel written by author Stephenie Meyer. It was originally published in 2005 in hardback.

Me thinks that Stephenie Meyer stole the idea from John Ajvide Lindqvist.

yeah, I was a little put off when they sprouted the line in the movie, but as much as I hate Twilight, I don't think it's a ripoff. If it was, I think that maybe Meyer would've picked some good things from the original and twilight would have, at least, some decent parts in it.

Anyway, the movie is still as awesome as it can get, and I hope that in the remake they don't fuck it over as bad as they did ".REC" with "quarantine". I still don't know what's bad with the swedish version... too lazy to read subtitles? They could just dub it and get over it, for fucks' sake.

On the topic, the story, the pacing and the photography were all excellent, but I'd go see this movie just for the ending scene. T'was perfect.

This movie is ten different kinds of awesome; just saw it on DVD last week, and honestly I think it's the best vampire movie I've ever seen. It evokes the whole vampire mythos but also feels emotionally real. The subtitles didn't really bother me at all.

10/10. I don't see the remake being better than this.
