    My thoughts exactly. I agreed with the rant until that sentence. I'm not a fan of Hermione but that line is downright misogynistic.

    I suppose I dislike her because she never gets her comeuppance. I've come to view her as a quasi mary-sue self insert. Its like Rowling goes out of her way to ensure Hermione is never wrong. For example, in book 6 the takeaway wasn't "Hermione should have believed Harry about Draco" instead it was "Hermione was right about the Half-blood Prince". Even in PoA, she was technically right about Sirius being the one to send the Firebolt.
