I thought I posted earlier that I wanted to be moved on down the list. I guess the post didn't load. So its cool. I want to see the interesting plot twists these guys have planned.

As for updating Awaken Sleeper, Luc, it's coming. I'll update after Project M's new chapter is posted, which I'm shooting for 35kw. It's sitting at about 22kw right now. So not too much longer until its done, then I can start on AS.

 

Glad to hear that you'll be updating, though I'm a little sad you won't be involved in this project.

By the way, if you need someone to beta or translate Latin for you (I feel like I'm getting rusty...) I'd be happy to help.

BTW, since you seem to know N pretty well, do you know if something happened to him in RL? It just seems odd that he has it ready and hasn't posted. If something bad happened, pass along my concerns.

Sorry been away from the forum for a couple of days. When I left we were waiting on WaterMage. I am not at the computer where the file is saved. So give me till tomorrow, because there is no way I am missing Halloween to go get 1k words across town

The end scared the living daylights out of me, once I realised what you did.

So now I'm wondering if Harry is Aurora. Cause that would suck. Having to get killed by yourself trying to end the World, or the World ends.

Hopefully he isn't Aurora. Except, then he has to deal with the fact that Aurora won't be happy about an impostor.

Still, it would be a great way for him to get help. Aurora and Titania won't hate him, seeing as he hasn't done anything yet. He can start to learn to control his new powers, and begin to prepare for the inevitable Titania tries to kill him point in time.

And he gets to meet his mother.

For the record, Margret/Fem!Harry is plain creepy. Beyond just who she is, she's also, what, 12?

EDIT2: Just reread and noticed that she's 16. That's till really creepy.


On a more serious note, Big D, please respond within 24 hours saying you are planning to write the next scene. Otherwise, you will be skipped.

I don't want the next scene to take 7 days.

haha, glad you liked it. I planned it so Harry didn't kill Harry in the future, but if that is a direction someone wants to take it, go for it.

She is 15 0r 16. I did some rough calculation. She has just come into magic.

Two thoughts:

- Will the WC get involved now that he's part of the Summer Court?
- It doesn't have to be that Margaret. In fact, I think the next author should make it not be, just to spite N.

EDIT2:
I don't think that Harry's normal magic should be gone. This isn't like Luccio where it's a different body. It's a changed body, and one that's changed because of a mantle of power. You sort of hinted that it might be gone (it eluded him)...

Also, there's the minor inconsistency of him having opened a way in my post.

Seeing as both Aurora and Dresden have the mantle of the Summer Lady, won't that destabilize the balance between the courts? The mantle of one of the Knights was enough to start a war that would destroy all life on earth, what will Mab, or even Titania do now that there are 2 Summer Ladies?

 

Pretty sure Aurora is dead.

Hm... While there are two Summer Ladies at the same time, there is the matter of paradoxes to consider. And paradoxes in DF are bad. And in SK I seem to remember Bob saying the courts hadn't gone to war in a long time.

Also, Harry owes Mab two favours, though thankfully she doesn't know that right now. But it means Harry isn't as much a boon on the Summer Court as (s)he would otherwise be.

And if Titania/Aurora find out too much about Harry, I imagine he'll disappear pretty fast. On the other hand, if he can keep them off his tracks, he's got some time to get ready for the SK fallout.

And this puts a whole new level of meaning into Titania's shock in the first scene.

Veri: Yes, but Harry just got thrown back in time, to when she's still alive.

Despite being a Summer 'Lady,' Harry doesn't serve the Summer Court, and as such (s)he doesn't break the balance.


After just two writers we have now time-travelling Faerie!Fem!Harry, who's hanging with his/her own mother... If other authors will continue adding their own touches, I predict this fic is soon going to crumble under its own impossibility.

Yeah. I've thought about that...

It isn't a problem yet, but it could be. I think that things will calm down after the next couple of posts though, as a plot begins to emerge.

 

Finished my part, which ended up running over 2200 words. Rereading and editing now, and will probably post within the hour.
