I'm only up to Blood Rites in the Dresden Files, unfortunately, so I'm not entirely sure if I'm qualified.

That being said, considering that I've got both Snitch Game and Renegade Cause on my plate, I might have to call this one a pass right now.

 

Silens Cursor: I think you'd be fine... I haven't read all the books yet either.

 

Lucis: I can write up something now. I'm working on it.

Silens: Don't worry about it. The plot is after Summer Knight. Blood Rites is later in the series.

 

Virail: It's great that you want to write. But it is sort of Taure's turn. The best solution I can come up with is this: it's yours until Taure confirms or if he says it's okay you can go first.

 

Ah, why not? It's like the literary equivalent of an improv. Kind of enjoying where the story is going, too. I'm working on the follow up to Broken Mirror, but add me to the list for this one, too. I'm sure I can come up with a worthy twist.

 

So, this weekend has been a little disappointing.

Virail: I really don't know what you are doing... Are you going to post or not? Frankly, this isn't fair to the other people waiting for a turn. I think you are just going to need to wait for your next turn. I feel a little bad doing this, but I don't really see any other options.

Taure: Technically you haven't responded in time, but given the confusion that's been going around, I'm going to wait a little longer.

Virail: Well, I'm not going to object to you posting. And I think you did a good job. Two little things you may want to fix: Harry isn't under the Doom of Damocles (he hasn't been since Strom Front, won't be again till PG) and Archangel already happened (it was at the beginning of SK, not the end). Just fix those two references and it would be great.

No. It was a somewhat delayed response.

Remember, Archangel was used by LaFortier to imply Dresden was a traitor in SK: it was part of the Merlin's argument to hand him over the Red Court.

If it's convenient, could you add a message to not post in that thread at the end of your post? I don't want people forgetting again.

In any case, I've spent the last little while thinking about what you added. I've got a really good idea now for when it's my turn...

Yeah, story sucks, so count me out.

The idea was that you're meant to take other people's contributions and work it into a somewhat coherent plot, not just to decide to do X and shit over whatever anyone else had written. The plot has changed direction more times than a pinball. It's just ugly.

I guess writers taking the attitude of "how can I screw the other writers over the most" didn't help.

Good luck to whoever tries to make something of this. Maybe it would be best to start the next entry with "Harry Dresden woke with a start. Thank God that was just a dream, he thought."
