What do you guys react to the History Channel show, "Life After People"? I love it to death because it shows how much things are going to change after we disappear. I know that the plot is kind of twee and that we already know that our biggest cities are going to revert to nature, but I LOVE the special effects. I always had a thing with futuristic settings and what is going to happen in the future, so that's why I love the show so much. i watch it every Tuesday night and I own the entire first series on DVD and the original pilot and the National Geographic copycat "Aftermath:population Zero"

Don't get me wrong, the anti-human bias and episodes are way too long, but I ignore these flaws and enjoy the show. After all, if we disappear, I think our structures and monuments will last a lot longer than the show's timeline gives us; despite the many changes Earth has in store.

So, what do you think about the show?

    I've seen a few episodes.
But the basis of the show is kinda duh. Just looking at all of the ancient cities and seeing how nature has started to tear it down doesnt change all that much.
I do like seeing what will survive, The Washington Monument aluminum Capstone with the inscriptions.
