Any pussy who kowtows to the moronic majority by putting incorrect spellings and definitions in the dictionary should have his or her hands chopped off.

I have the same problem with any dictionary that bows to the ignorant masses and adds the definition of FLOUT as one of the meanings of FLAUNT.

Just because some douchebags are too retarded to check a fucking dictionary and realize that you don't 'flaunt' the law, authority, or the rules, you 'flout' it, doesn't mean you should wipe their noses for them, tell them it's all going to be alright, then facilitate their stupidity by changing THE ENTIRE MEANING OF A FUCKING WORD.

I'm still surprised at how many people don't know the difference between affect and effect. Or how many use hung instead of hanged for an execution.

The dictionary lost any credibility when "bling-bling" received an entry.

Um . . . dictionaries are descriptions of how people use words, not rules for word usage.

That being said, I do dislike the use of irregardless in place of regardless, but as a linguist, I can't conscionably condemn the use of irregardless, as it is part of a natural process of language change called hypercorrection.

We should note that dictionary.com does show irregardless as "non-standard" and gives an important usage note:

Also note that most grammarians with more than two braincells to rub together will remind us that not only to most languages make use of double negatives for the specific purpose of emphasis, but that their condemnation in English is entirely unnatural and based solely on the writings of eighteenth-century grammarians who used double negatives (and other supposed grammatical errors) in their condemnation of those very errors.

I just reread this fic, and I have to state yet again, how much I enjoyed the latter parts.

I was... unimpressed with the Narcissa smut, for just... Narcissa smut. However, I really did enjoy how he dealt with the problem of Luna. It definitely had to be one of the more enjoyable pranks I have ever read. I usually absolutely hate writing about pranks, probably goes with my intense dislike of the idea of public humiliation, but here, it just worked wonderfully.

I am really hoping for this to be updated.

Thank you for your kind words. And have no fear the Narcissa smut will, after reaching its apex in a few chapters, fade away.

I really liked that. The way the interaction between Harry and everyone is written is simply fantastic, especially his ex-friends. The only problem I had with it was the smut, but, as you said, that's not going to be an issue later on.

Also...how is Pricilla (assuming that she will want to sometime in the future) going to apologize to Luna if she has the mouth of a pig? Is she just going to squeal at Luna and hope she understands? Communicating with other people to get what she needs to payback Luna would also be a problem.

Can't wait until the potentially very awkward meeting with Sirius. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

    4/5

Great story, I felt kind of put down by the prologue when Hermione cast the fidelius charm with herself as secret keeper but I’m glad I stuck with it and read the whole thing. It’s magnificently written, I love the interaction between characters. Hope to see more of this story soon.

You say: "I felt kind of put down by the prologue when Hermione cast the fidelius charm with herself as secret keeper "

I'm curious; why would that bother you? It is essentially derived straight from canon where Bill puts Shell Cottage under the Fedelis with himself as Secret Keeper. What that begs for me is why the hell James and Lily didn't just have themselves as their own keepers. If the Marauders were as divided at that time as we are led to believe, where they know there is a traitor in the group with sirius and James suspecting Remus, Remus suspecting Sirius, and no one suspecting the rat, then why wouldn't someone as clever as Lily is proported to be not simply remove all risk and choose to be their own Secret Keeper?

    ... I've got a polar bear for a neighbour...
... and the simple answer would be - a plot hole and the story wouldn't have happened in that case.
There are a number of illogical things usually done by the main characters that someone would say out right - "no way anyone would have done that", but then without them there won't be a story to read, would there...

Onto another topic - is there an update coming that way?

And by the way I'm sorely disappointed by the way Narcissa turnout to be the petty fuck and would soon be disregarded as a character at all... or at least I got that impression from your previous comments... I hope you might have a change of mind. got to love the HP's version of Mrs. Robinson :p

Yes, there is a drunken update between Harry and Sirius on the way and no, Narcissa is not going to be disregarded, even if the smut fades after two or three more intense scenes she will remain the primary driver for Harry's actions now that he has freed Sirius and protected Luna.

Harry telling Sirius he has to leave early to shag his cousin would make me giggle quite heartily.

The story is fine enough, if a little long winded at some points. I'll give it a 3/5 simply because, while it's well written and somewhat realistic, it isn't terribly exciting or engaging.

I have to say that while I REALLY don't like Sanctimonious!Harry, the rants in this story make me grin. While the plot may not be the fastest moving, it moves quick enough to hold one's interest and progress the plot at a reasonable rate. Gotta say it's a decent read, not epic, but definitely not bad. Good characterization and witty banter abound, that, and Harry's method of Malfoy removal was inspired.

    I'll give it a 4/5.

I'd love to see how that turns out, so far she's just been portrayed as primarily a means to kill of Lucius, and later on a good lay. I havn't really been picking up any vibes of deep emotions, so as I said, it'll be interesting.

Overall the story is very well written, althought there was a few phrases that seemed a tad strange it was nothing that I spent more than a few seconds thinking about.

Interesting characterizations, the Bumblebee and Snape is spot on. I am a bit curious about how Lily and James will play into the story, seems like they hold very little meaning to the story despite being so implemented in the beginning.

As for Harys behaviour, I'm a tad confused about his behaviour, the whole dimension switch from the verge of a suicide seemed to alter the person quite a lot, not really sure how to put it but the transition rubs me the wrong way. Also, the amount of feelings, or shall we say the lack thereoff, could've given it more depth on another level. No, I'm not talking about the sappy fangirl shite, but rather more moral dilemmas and leftover anger against the people that shunned him in the original dimension.

Oh and by the way, Narcissa smut can never be wrong.
