Im still sort of on the fence. Someone with the limitless drug I expect more than just a crime drama.

It may not be the best show currently airing, but I am definitely having fun with it.

This episode was just the gift that kept on giving. Just ... every facet of it was enjoyable. It had well-timed comedy coupled with actual plot, some heavy parts, and an amazing closing.

It also made me think. Brian has been using NZT constantly to make himself a better crime analyst and investigator, investing all of his time and energies while on it to advance his skills on the relevant areas. And it's been working. Fabulously so. Brian is an amazing investigator and he keeps growing, keeps getting better at that, the area of his focus.

Which makes me wonder what Morra, whose playing field has been influence and politics, has grown into.

So I just loved the shit out of this episode, it highlighted every single thing that is fun about this show. From Brian figuring out how to switch on new parts of his brain to that ending I was giggling like a kid the entire time.

Yeah that episode was pretty amazing.

Smelling colors, Brian telling his dad, and of course the Bruntouchables.

I happened to catch the Ferris Bueller episode and the Bruntouchables episode while I was at a friend's house. Is that hilarity par for the course or was it just a random stroke of genius?

That particular episode is the best so far when it comes to comedy, but all episodes are the same style. The comedy in this series is top notch.

Amazing episode, as always good comedy and actual plot, with Brian's dad actually finding a way to take Brian out of this mess, pretty unexpected. On other hand, the old man would have a heart attack if he knew of Morra's involvement with Brian's life. Speaking of Morra, it was clear how deep he got inside of the protagonist's head when Brian said he was actually "someone that matters", Morra's exact words to him back then. Makes you wonder how many moves ahead someone on NZT and with years of political experience under his belt can see.

Unfortunately, no Bruntouchabels. Must have been a one time thing, pity.

I know some people will react negatively to these advanced prosthetic arms and the running-jetpack, but consider please that in this reality NZT users have been affecting the world for quite some time.

It is therefore entirely plausible that with all their insights and discoveries there have been certain leaps in technology.

3 episodes in and my favorite parts are the few scenes with Eddy Morra or his underlings.

That was the darkest episode yet. It echoed the Bruntouchabe theme but couldn't be any different. One of them dead and another in a coma. It also deepened the characters, adding new dimensions to them. I'm really enjoying this show.

The humor was good as always but the darker parts were the highlights of the episode, some pretty deep character development there. The only complaint I have is the lack of Morra.

Just saw that last episode, that was pretty intense.

Also that last scene with Boyle...
I wonder what will he do on the pill?

My guess is that it's just a cliffhanger, and he will end up giving it back to the FBI.

That or use it only because he feels he needs to see how good NZT is in order to better judge if Brian was right in that situation.

Holy shit. Great episode. Limitless shows that it can do depth just as well as it can do comedy.

I really felt for Casey. He didn't get any break, went from terrible situation to terrible feeling and it didn't get any better. This episode was a great showcase of how a fucked up situation can escalate wildly, and how people unused to NZT might face problems. In the end though, if Brian is to be believed, Casey held himself back, even in the face of his death.

I felt like Boyle finding a pill in the end sort of cheapened the episode by distracting us from all that had happened, but whatever.

    I'll miss Casey.

This show is really getting better and better with each episode. The comedy, the drama, the characters development and change in status quo which is surprising for a series that was suppose to be another procedural.

Unfortunately, its ratings may not be good enough for getting a second season, but I wouldn't be surprised if it became a cult classic in few years.
