I liked the new episode but I would have preferred it if Brian had joined up with the Senator instead of the FBI... I think it would have made for a more fitting end to this season and created an interesting/intriguing three way fight (plus likely set up a lot of drama/plot for a possible second season).

 

Loved this episode, Brian's psychosis was well done, his determination to keep going, while not surprising, definetely highlights his strong points as a character. Morra is still out there though.

Sadly, I was right about the Legion of Whom. One would've expected them to be a larger threath since they had many people with access to NZT and the immunity shot, but Brian dismantled their plans with moderate ease. They want Morra to be the main antagonist, I guess.

 

I expected a lot more from them, but I suppose they wanted to have a clear win for the good guys in case there is no second season. If there is one, it's probably going to be about Brain fighting NZT criminals and trying to stop Morra from becoming the President (with Sands out, they have nothing against him).

 

Frankly, if too much had been made of completely unknown and unbuilt characters this soon, I'd be much more annoyed.

 

Did we get confirmation that the legion outside of Sands were captured?

 

Pretty sure we didn't. I imagine that will be the focus of the new season, with Morra being the "lurking big bad" behind the scenes.

 

Personally I'm still hoping Morra is a good guy of sorts.

 

I think that angle could be very interesting, but I'm not sure it's actually going to happen.

I felt this series in generally was pretty watchable, if mindless entertainment, with a few really good episodes in there. I thought the episode with Rebecca on NZT was probably one of the best. The permanent NZT immunity shot will be very very interesting though.

I'm watching this and Lucifer at the moment, and I'd consider Lucifer slightly better.

 

Probably not, but they've played him vague enough to go either way.

I'm glad they did that instead of recycling the same side effect story over and over again!

Shame. It was a far far better procedural-esque show than the steaming pile of shit that is all the NCIS shows.

 

Wow, they actually cancelled it. I didn't think it was amazing by any stretch, but it was certainly better than most of the crap that comes out these days. It was finally starting to get interesting too.

 

And they decide to continue Supergirl. Wow.

 

At least it has a decent ending. That said, it's a shame that Morra will never have a chance to actually do something instead of just teasing his master plan.

 

They are actively shopping Limitless. It may have season 2 but on another network.

Don't think so. CBS cancelled, and then they were briefly shopping for another network, but Craig Sweeny just reported on twitter the other day that they would not be continuing the show on any platform.

 

Well, the first and final season is on Netflix if anyone is feeling nostalgic.
