I quite agree, the ending was really, really anticlimactic.

And the reason for why Lily and James acted like utter cunts to Harry and Natasha was probably one of the most retarded ones I ever heard. It just has the appearance of being thrown in there at the last moment because he forgot to possibly, at the very least, hint at it in some previous chapter.

And as for the "Escape to Darkness" fic linked earlier, it's a shame that one lies abandoned.
