Tried the weapon x one, came out looking like ass, too much revolved around the detail in Wolverine's face.

A good etch would be stuff that's mostly outlines, like that dragon in one of the first posts, or like my mousepad.

The dragon I botched up b/c I had to shrink it so small, and it wound up being a pain in the ass. It should be alright inverted, just waiting to get a better etching tip

 

(I'm not sure if you want something like this, but I liked it so ...)


(seems a bit too ornate with the scales and all, but if you almost pulled off that other dragon this one should be a lot easier.)

 

The top phoenix would be easy to do but it looks strange, the bottom, with it looping over itself would be a pain in the ass

Something simple, yet effective.
