I'm interested in fics that start out as a certain type of cliche: Manipulative Dumbledore, Evil!Weasleys, harem fics, etc, but after spending a certain amount of time in the reality of that story, the author yanks the rug out from under the reader and the fic is then revealed to be an effective deconstruction, subversion, or parody of the fics it seemed to imitate at first.

Although this story wrongly states that Dumbledore didn't know how Harry is treated at the Dursleys, its a pretty clever spoof of Manipulative Dumbledore fics, in that it is pretty ridiculous how easily Dumbledore is taken down in most of those fics and that no one caught on to him earlier:
