And as for Harry/Diablo, I actually think it'd work, the damned Horcrux's are nothing more then a half ass soulstone quest anyway. Hell she's even got Ogden in the books. (firewhiskey)


Also Demon, be prepared, we are all brutally and harshly honest. Fics that deserve it are lifted up and praised, those that are average get blasted for their faults and praised for their good content in the same post, bad ones just get torn to shreds. There is no sheep effect of FF.net here where everyone thinks a fic is great, even if itz typ liek tis.


Also when you get a chance, make an introduction thread, it helps to acclimate you to everyone.

One piece of advice, try to keep the pairings within reason this time around. Don't do what you did in Dark Lord and have Harry screwing anything on two legs and female (thus not including Herman and Girard). It does get extremely unrealistic and, to be frankly honest, very annoying, after a few chapters when he has like twenty sex partners.

 

ive been reading it since it was only one chapter... truthfully... its not all THAT great or groundbreaking... but i find it amusing so i keep reading...

all i can say is: Read it and enjoy it...

and the Diablo Cross is getting pretty apparent now when i'll post the ninth chapter...

And as a small note: Dark lord was written in the beginning of my career and in that time period i was still a little bit hormonally imbalanced but now i'm all fine. i'm actually strainign to write soem things as writing comes pretty hard for a guy with my handicap of being socially unaccepted...

 

It was ok, Giovanni will give it that... There were a couple moments when Giovanni was like "wtf?!?!?!" but they may have occured because Giovanni read it at 4am because Giovanni often reads fanfiction at early/odd hours because Giovanni does not have normal sleep patterns.

Giovanni hypothesizes that this is because Giovanni's brain is not smart enuf to make Giovanni have normal sleeping habits.


Giovanni would like to remind Vash of of the Foamidian Cult that just as his cult hates stupid people, Giovanni is of the Gerbillian cult, and all Gerbillians must speak in what Vash calls "3rd person."

Giovanni would however like to reccommend to Demon God of Chaos a few things that will drastically improve his writing.

#1. Avoid wordiness. Giovanni (and other fanfiction readers) do not like wasted words. Wasted words are evil, and must be destroyed.

#2. Always Edit for Clarity. Giovanni believes this to be self-explanitory. Also have your beta/beta's read over it. Read the chapter out loud as well... If it seems awkward out loud, then it is awkward for a reader.

#3. Join the Gerbillian Cult. Giovanni knows that you are puzzled by this, however, it is a proven fact that members of the Gerbillian cult write better novel length fanfiction, theortical physics equations, better drunken poetry than any other cults.

I do like some of the Harry/Mafia fics thou, but Tony Montana and HP.. I dunno why but it just seems so far off of readable, lol
